Why haven't you made any more videos?? I love your costume and I was hoping you would post the video regarding how to make the pumpkin head.
Since this video was made in 2023, perhaps, this year, it will happen. If not, other creators have made pumpkin head videos, (Rachel Maksey, for example has two; in the second video, she re-makes her original pumpkin head.)

The skirt turned out so fun!! It takes forever but the look is so worth it. The final look is giving pumpkin people from Over the Garden Wall.

That is a lot of clean seams. I would have folded the seam allowance and stitched it the once to help keep a steady flow if a clean inside was needed. More often then not i will just bag line a project if there is going to be a lot. Did that with my thrifted quilt top that made a incredible full skirt that looked like it took days to make.

So, questions... you cut your first tier to 7" tall so you would end up with 6" tall pieces, but I didn't catch how wide you made your pieces. Also, how many pieces did you use for each tier? You didn't share that information which is really important to recreate the same fullness as your skirt came out. Hope to hear back from you... ty!

You might try some french seams on your skirts...it keeps frayed edges under control if you don't have a serger.
P.S. you should make more videos...looks like everyone wants a pumpkin tutorial. 🎃
She did use French seams. She said it at least half a dozen times.

This skirt is gorgeous, but just a heads-up, Salvation Army has horrible ethics and has been controversial to shop at for years, for very good reason. Please be sure to research the companies you shop from/support, it really does make a difference when we vote with our wallets!
