nice, I am from the Philippines with a 316i swapped in a S52B32 and Active autowerke stage 2 supercharger kit. We have almost the same setup but I will not get a smaller SC pulley. I have heavily invested in the cooling system since I live in a tropical country but I am able to run my car hard. I built it for highway and canyon driving. I am currently using a 3.91 LSD and I find it too short for this amount of power. What are you using and what ratio do you recommend that's good for highway driving?
@@CanyonTuned That sounds fast AF. Are we talking about the us version or the eu version? Whp or hp? Also i am learning ecu tunning for my own M52tub28 and you are being so helpfull to me, thank you. I am considering to throw and rotrex c38-91 on it. But for now i just have inox catless headers and soon i will take an m54b30 manifold. I hope i can reach 190whp with that.
@@agdwhite5421 The M52TUB is a little sketchy for boost and there isn't a lot of tuning support out there since it was only a 1-2 year production. I would say if you were going that route switch to a normal M52 or M50 for big power. I wouldn't be comfortable throwing more than like 6-8psi at something like that
@@CanyonTuned Yes... Ive seen that its easier to work on that just by switching your ecu from ms42 to ms43... Engine its not a problem, its safe to push it to around 5-7psi stock, with decompression hg it will take up to 14psi with no issues but my goal is just 7-8psi. The TU versions had more in common with the newer M54 than with the old M52 but without the issues the M54 had
I have the same car. Can you give me more info on Hagerty collector car insurance and not having to deal with state emissions. Is this valid in California as well.
Have you managed to setup knock control correctly or is it just turned off for good? Just adapted a normal Vems v3 to an m52 and just can't figure out the required setup.
"Prime condition" as an Amazon Prime truck drives by at 1:35 haha
It's almost like Amazon tried inserting a free ad into my video 😂
Amazing roads you got there.

I have the 3.46 in mine I'm pretty sure
good stuff. these are public roads in america? they are so nice.
For legal purposes this is a closed track
Sound and seems nice! How much power do you think it is making now?
Well over 400 I would say, it really throws you back in the seat. Power to weight it feels faster than my tuned m4

I was at FD too! The rain sucked 🙃 ruined the top 16.
Yeah we left right before they told everyone to get off the stands due to lightning lol

Not a valid situation in California. Your best solution is to move out of that communist state
You could also register your car in Montana since you only need a PO box to register

Let me know if you get it figured out. I struggled with it too. I set my timing very safe until I can get the car on a dyno
Are you running a BOV still? Love the noises when shifting
Superchargers use bypass valves, but yeah it's the active autowerke one that comes with the kit. I was running an open bpv but it was extremely loud
