Beautiful car! Love how it sounds. It's great to see you enjoying the car, and it's great to see such a nice SC build. I have a 99 M3 with an AA SC. I went with the upgraded C38-92 blower from the E46/E92 kits. Other power adders are AA headers ceramic coated, AA Track Pipe, Eisenmann Race exhaust, Schrick cams. Originally it had 410 whp on a dynojet @ 10 psi, and when I added meth and went from 90mm to 85mm pulley it put down 450 whp on the same dynojet @ 13 psi without a retune. The shop said the fuel trims were still good and to leave the tune alone, they could tune for the meth and get it into the 470's but with stock internals it wasn't recommended. If I did pistons/rods I could run one more pulley size down to 80mm and likely break 500 whp with a new tune, but not sure if I want to do that investment. I loved watching your vid and enjoy that lovely beast!
Setup sounds good. You are becoming a boost junkie. Is a good thing. You have the formula to make good hp. Look into the type of head gasket, cut ring is the way to go. Your stock internals will work... get a proper tune and keep water meth full and you will be fine
Been working and struggling on my 97' Estoril blue E36 M3 for 4 years now. It's had every problem you can list, came to me as a piece of shit, dealt with a lot of scammer shade tree mechanics the first couple years that took me on the car. Just had the engine totally rebuilt and most of the mechanical issues are finally nearly sorted. This dude is an OG and I love his E36, it's definitely goals. I'm gonna hang onto mine and maybe in 16 more years it'll be at this level.
You got this hang in there. 12 year owner of an E36 M3/4/5. Took me 8 years to get it perfect. Cooling system, brakes, clutch, suspension, audio, body, exhaust system and resolve all oil leaks. Car drives like a dream now. Will supercharge next!
The M3 still looks good Gary. I've seen this car go from stock to the beast it is today. It's funny that I find you on a video while looking up info for my clk500. Keep up the good content Hellboy and nice to see your still in the game Gary.
@@garyjerry7929 I just had my engine rebuilt on my 97' and just hoping to get the car this clean looking some day. New lifters, valves, head gasket, polished cam, but it's all stock. Could my motor handle a supercharger setup with less PSI without having to open it back up and strengthen the internals? What about the clutch/flywheel? I think I'd be happy with ~350 whp.
What a great episode. 👍 your smile on your face says it all. Great build, looks beautiful and sounds awesome. He seems to be a good guy to know. Will you go down this road and start a full performance project?
@@HeyboysGarage yeah man, look forward to seeing it develop. I found CLS500 going for 2k. I really can't afford it right now but hopefully it will still be available later this summer. If its meant to be....💫
Just a fantastic looking E36; really like the approach to the build and what he has done with the car. Avus Blue is my favorite color on this gen M3 as well.
Alot of e36 u.s spec m3s are still Running with high milage with SC and turbo setups. What does that tell you ??? Should tell you itz an Iron Block under the Hood.🦫

Hold on too it! I’m sure you can get it to were his is at the moment! Do you think you will supercharger yours?
Just keep plugging away...your car will be irreplaceable once you sort it out.

Absolutely I have stock internals. Fully built head with schrick cams. You would be fine...my plan in the future is to do cut ring gaskets.
Nice Gary! Now I'm probably the only S/C E36 M3 left in NY after you left....lol. We'll have to meet up again for some fun rides.
You have to move down here...plenty of roads to open it up...
Yep might as well move to Atlanta!
My only ownership of a BMW was an '87 manual E30 325es in Delphine Gray. Great car and regret selling it.
Very nice!
Yo MAD respect !!! he's had the car since it was still in warranty !!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!! keep it clean and oem PLUSPLUS!!!!
Yessir! I’m gonna bring it back to the channel soon again

I remember this car when it was bone stock, beautiful build
And when you drove it with the stage 1 supercharger...😆 🤣 😂
It is a master piece! Enjoyed riding in it
Do you know what he dynoed at? Interested in the hp lvl
He is pushing 490WHP from the dyno sheets from last run before this run
beautiful E36! great power
Yes indeed!
Love the E36 M3. Don’t see them in Avus blue to often.
I gotta bring it back to the channel
What exhaust is that?
Active Autowerke...track pipe and race exhaust...hit me up if you need any parts...
Represent AA but not running AA SC, but gary does have the best supercharger kit RMS ... Very very 👍
It’s a sick ride! Will be cruising with him soon again
Its their tune on the car and collaboration since I am an authorized dealer for their products. Will always rep Active Autowerke.
@@peterjerry3964 I understand, still love that RMS SC KIT... Very STRONG Build
Beautiful car. What is name rims?
I think he mentions it in the videos! I can't remember.
They are Fikse wheels, possibly Profil 5S rims. Reminds me of a BMW Style 37. Really nice looking setup.
Ah I saw this at the burger and bimmers bbq earlier this year in Lithonia ga. Beautiful car
Yeah owner has kept and done a great job on it.
What a car
Exactly! Glad you enjoyed the video
Thank you...building it for years...
I have a rms kit also if anyone is interested, brand new , never installed it. For cheap California for sale
