One of the best things about being a child of the 80's is that your life has the best soundtrack ever. Great job, looks like fun! PS this was 78 but still very much being played years later. Its The Cars after all.

I did not mind coming here. And it did not waste any time. One of my faves from The Cars. That being said. I was curious as to whether you'd seen "Boom City" by Halestorm. Live performance from Philadelphia, 2010. One of my fave drum solos. And the whole band gets in on it at the end. But I'd love to see how a drum teacher like yourself reacts to the beast that is Arejay, and his antics. And his giant drumsticks.

I just watched your reaction to "Frankenstein" by the Edgar Winter Group. I had apparently watched it before, but didn't remember, b/c I commented that you should do "Hocus Pocus" by the band, Focus. I'm commenting here to remind you about it. Like Frankenstein, it's also an instrumental . You will _LOVE_ it! Everybody does. It's _SUCH_ a unique song and it has a lot of cool drumming. Oh yeah, _IT ROCKS!!_
Nicely done. Really love the "inverted" pattern change in the third verse. As a listener and a guitarist I never fully noticed it until some friends asked me to transcribe the drums (for drum machine) in case they couldn't find a new drummer for a small show they were doing. Really perked my ears up when transcribing that part. They found a drummer. First practice, he hadn't rehearsed the songs and played straight back beats to everything. Next practice, he nailed all the parts for all the songs. Honestly, he was far better than my friends' band.
The drummer for the madness also does this.

The cars didn't suck, but just more simplistic music. Not sure why you would need sheet music for this. But good good never the less. Classic song from my childhood.
