He just didn't like the song and should be allowed to criticize it, I loved the song and love the band but you can't stop people from having opinions
If you read the lyrics to this song its about their fans complaining about their recent sound saying it isn't heavy enough. At a recent show in Australia a fan snatched the mic away on stage and said one of their dead band members I can't remember his name but the dude said that he's rolling over in his grave because architects stopped being heavy.

It's a fucking joke that, this guy probably cried and felt the sadness with the band. A strong link between Architects and a part of the community, who today sends death threats to them and shit on Tom's legacy.

it was made to stick it to the fans that wanted them to go heavy so they over did it jokingly. they were making it sound sarcastic intentionally .

Ive never been a architects fan...they have some hit or miss songs but this song is one of the best songs they released in a long time. Its funny because they ironically made a song better than all their new stuff.
I highly recommend to check out Among Ruins - Shattered Times (2023). Good oldschool-style melodeath from Greece

Only Toronto fir Canada. Hate that shit. I caught a drumstick in their Holy Hell tour show in Edmonton! This is one of the best tracks released this year. Their new guitarist sounds great and i love the fuck the haters message personally.

As a big fan of architects, I say that I also find this music very superficial, I don't know, I can't feel that emotion anymore, especially listening to albums like Holy Hell and All Our Gods Have Abondoned Us. What I felt listening to Architects I feel when I listen to Invent Animate .
100% agree... i still feel that emotion in fttwte and only in 2 songs of csoabs (New moral low ground and doomscrolling)... but i feel that same way(LF//LT, aoghau, Holy hell) now when i listen to invent animate(false meridian, without a whisper, cloud cascade, monarch, elysium, immolation...)
This may sound inapprioprate from my sid, but the female parts made this song very popish ( although - in comparision to Linkin Park - you prolly won't hear this in commercial radio ). I also had simialar feeling with one black metal band ( which name i cannot remember now ) where their usage of female vocals made me feel like i'm listenning to some chip-chop band.
Idk if there classified as black metal but I think brand of sacrifice had a track? Off there recent EP?
I struggle with these “new” bands to be honest… too many things happening and the formula seems to be copied and copied.

The new vocal choices by sam.. seems like he only chooses vocal types that he doesnt mastered.. and it felt so cringe and forced that take away all the emotion of the song.. vocals like holy hell, modern misery, royal beggars, gone with the wind or any other OG song...
