Real life story, forget where it happened. These two geniuses drive up to a gas station and rob the clerk. Then jump into their car to make their getaway... only to run out of gas two blocks away. The idiots were arrested still trying to get the car started, apparently not realizing they were out of gas.

I want time saw a video of a man who goes into 7/11 with his mom. When they are checking out after the mom bought him Doritos she starts to walk away and the guy pulls a gun on the cashier. The mom notices hits her son and yells at him to grab his Doritos and leave. They just walked out of the store but that cashier must have been like wtf just happened

In Poland there was a guy who decided to rob an arcade games place AND he put on the camera plastic shopping bag but it was falling off so he put ON his face a plastic bag. He didn't rob anything but the video is on UA-cam.

I really like this video. Most "dumb criminals" videos are just people making fun of the desperately poor, or misguided drug addicts. But this one feels more sympathetic towards them as well, and shows genuinely funny stuff instead of just crack logic. I appreciate that.

Years ago there was a group going around my neighbourhood stealing rims off cars every night. It made the news when they were caught in the act by the property owner who happened to both be armed and an elite level MMA fighter. The thieves didn't die, but they also didn't walk away.

After the video, he was confronted by staff at the Castle Fine Art Gallery in Birmingham, UK and had to give it back to the staff before fleeing away. The thief was arrested a month later.

Oooih that video from the Dutch store. It actually happened. You missed the end though. Theres a sticker on the door that says: 'i case of shoplifiting we always call the cops'. They added 'almost' :)
And yeah, there was a marching band. They knew the 10000th got to be that day. They had a few every day!!
I had a similar incident happen to me. A guy stole my phone from a hookah lounge and when I got a new phone and did a backup restore from my Verizon cloud. a bunch of pictures this guy took of himself with acne cream on his face popped up. as well as text messages he sent trying to sell weed to people. I was shocked at what an idiot he was. the police never pursued it but I thought it was the funniest shot and he left his name in the texts so I was able to find him on Facebook too.

I grew up in the West Island of Montreal. Back in the 90's I remember reading an article about a guy that decided to rob a Chinese Buffet by breaking in through the roof vent, on Christmas. Cause all Chinese Buffet's are closed for Christmas. Anyway as he crawled through the venting he fell through the grate and landed in the hot oil. I guess it didn't hurt him too much since he quickly realized that the Buffet was indeed open for business. He proceeded to grab a big kitchen knife. Slipped and slides his way to the front counter demanding the money at knife point. Takes the money and turns around to leave. Slips and falls forward, dropping the knife. Only to be caught in the arms of one of the 6, on duty, uniformed police officers entering the restaurant for their Christmas day lunch break.

The guy trying to steal a painting reminded me of a robbery in my country where a woman with a long skirt walked into a electronics store, took a TV, put it under her skirt and walked away. She actually did that a couple of times on different stores and never got caught.

I got one for you. This one guy goes to rob a pizza place somewhere in Michigan. he pops off a vent cap to get in, but gets stuck for 11 hours. The police arrive after hearing reports of a screaming man. Firefighters free him soon after, and the suspect resisted arrest until he was subdued and arrested. Talk about a really cheesy heist.

There was one video of a guy trying to get into the back door of a restaurant, fishery or something. He couldn't get in so he tried to kick in the door. Anyway, his leg looked like jello when he kicked the door. Turns out, he broke his leg in multiple places.

Neebs, I have two stories of my own... Well, I didn't do 'em.
1) A man (in a mask) goes into a security camera store. After getting two boxes, he notices an active security camera and flips it off... AFTER removing his mask.
2) I think somewhere in Florida two men rob a gas station. One man was actually doing the robbery while his friend stood at the door. The man standing at the door twirls a pistol and accidentally shoots his foot.

I worked at a building where we were fixing a double door we put a wet floor sign, a sign that said "broken" and a chair in front of the door we were fixing. Pretty much people saw the obstacles as a challenge. One dude opened the door and hopped over the wet floor sign. One lady almost tripped and asked why didn't we make the sign bigger. A grown man tripped over the sign (far away from anyone unless you were going through the door) tripped getting to the elevator.
No wonder Doraleous is the coolest guy here. If you're born in the north, your blood never de-ices.
