Yea, Skate Raleigh sucks but Marsh Creek is a nice old park (with a sort of newer DIY section) and Apex is awesome, not to mention the one in Durham. I'm not sure why the sort of DIY spot at Neighbor to Neighbor seems to have been abandoned but the halfpipe there is pretty cool.
You skipped out on mentioning a few things which happened to be my favorite features the last time I visited: The quarter to quarter funbox in the middle which I would just air to flat and strange curved rail that went over the grass. This park will be missed if it has been decided it will be demolished. Going to visit this weekend to at least get one more sesh in!
Bitching about having to do a little cleaning at a DIY is the gayest thing I’ve ever heard. Nobody is getting payed, and people work really fucking hard to make things to skate, the least you can do if you want to benefit from others hard work is clean up a little. I bet you haven’t donated a single dollar to the DIY
Yeah you’ve got a point. I did clean up the trash along with some other people that showed up later. I try to do my part to help out but I was just calling it the way I saw it. No hate. Just trying to spread the word about this pretty fun DIY.

If you've not seen people skate that loop you need to search for some clips, it's super rad
