The story in brief is , Kay(ksh) got close to Day(mky) just to spy on her and kill his target, her brother who was in that photograph, you can see her crying in the beginning while on the phone that was her receiving the news of her brother's death. But Kay fell in love with her, later Day finds out his true identity and what he has done and is ordered to kill him. They are both spy/assassin.

I’ve watched a few Lee Mujin mainly because he had 3 SKZ guests at different times, Han, Seungmin and I.N. I truly like Mujin’s voice and style and how he complements his guests’ singing voices during their duos but when Daesung was on… it was so obvious to me the difference in voice quality.
I wish he hadn’t said excrement though lol, may have turned off younger viewers who know nothing about Daesung or his quirky sense of humour.
I did cry during If You, he chose to sing Top’s part knowing how much he loves Top so I was done from the beginning. And that English jazzy song he sang???? Wow, blew me away.
Like you I didn’t understand either that they were both hired assassins, he was spying on her through the mirror and “falling slowly “ for her and couldn’t complete his mission but she could grrrr, she made me angry.
I feel better that I'm not the only one that cried...tbh.
That's why she looked so cold. Well, she's an effective assassin then. 😅

listen to both songs, so also the B side Light a jazz ballad with a romantic melody, offering a glimpse into DaeSung's diverse musical charm.. and I'm enjoying both songs. The mv is very dramaesct a mini story beautiful ly done with incredible young actors (Kim SeonHo and Moon GaYoung) who make a special appearances, Their love story unfolds like a Drama movie, perfectly capturing the atmosphere of the song through visuals and heartfeld acting.
Daesung sounds amazing and you hear his diverse sound his deep vocal tones it's a a mid tempo song, harmonizes beautifully with a nice instrumental arrangements and lyrical melodies. highlighting Daesung's emotionally rich voice, it feels very now, he has more color but I don't feel it in this song but that's okay, I enjoy listening to the song because I just love his voice and the newances of it, from the first verse. The song, filled with longing and sadness, it's about a breakup, conveying the depth of emotions solely through his voice ❤ he's showing a more mature and deep musical side of himself these days than the happy funny daesung and I'm so happy for him that he get's to explore that side more too.. 😊
Need to re watch the mv a couple of times and listen to the song more, going to rematch your video too.. because I'm watching at work and want to enjoy it without the surrounding notices haha

thank you for this. I also loved your reaction to Lee Mujin Service. I wish more people would check that out. I was literally shook when I first watched it. I couldn't believe that was him singing Lose Control - he sounds soo different when he sings in English. He's incredible. Also, GD is a genius for creating the melody of a hit song on the spot like that and propelling Daesung into the world of trot. Come to think of it, he also composed "A Big hit" as well. Genius.
I really love "Falling Slowly." The melody is so catchy and I love the bridge. I really hope he does a rock song next.
