Did this without dropping the silencers. Chopped the small end of the 8mm Allen wrench down to a nub so it would fit in between the silencers and frame. Lot of cursing involved. Wish I’d watched this first. One of the 3 frame bolts came out stripped from the factory. Had to re-thread it to get it back in properly. A little disappointed that they crammed it in when it must have been apparent at the factory that it was not threading properly. Oh well, live and learn. Good to go now. Thanks for the videos. You are my official go to guy now. No pressure Stu.😅
Nice one TBW, nice bit of kit...
Cheers Henry 😊👍🏻
Loving these how to videos, please keep em coming 😀👍
Thank you will do 👍🏻
Captive nuts! sounds like an Ad for a lunatic asylum! Never mind, as usual a very precise and informative video. Cheers, DINO.
Cheers Dino much appreciated 😊👍🏻
Good vlog as always
Great video, you can't beat the original Enfield bash plate, it stops all the the crud hitting the oil filter and it looks great too 👍🏍🇬🇧
Cheers Kenneth yes it’s a quality addition for sure
well done dave.bit of a job..
Cheers Jeff….they all are when you have to film them 😂😂😂
Looks good on your bike. I’m thinking of getting the sump guard for my Classic 350. Hopefully be a little more straight forward. 🤞👍
I think it should be a lot easier with the Classic 😊👍🏻
Does this mean that every time you want to change the oil filter you have to go through the same process?
No not at all you only need to drop the plate not the brackets….5 minute job….the exhaust faff is a one time exercise to get the brackets in 😊👍🏻

Cheers buddy much appreciated. Yes Re do have some thread and fitting issues but occasionally I had to re thread a captive on the scram
What about when changing oil? Is there room to open the drain bolt and collect the old oil in catch pan underneath?
Very enjoyable 🤣🤣👍
Thank you sir!
* Heads down to Pets At Home to purchase a pair of “Jack Rabbits”……
😂😂🤣
How come you didn't take the exhausts off completely it would have made the job so much easier.
That would have involved removing the two O2 sensors
quite involved ;; at least your gsd let you get on with it ,; mine would not ;;
He’s more disruptive than you think 😂
