0:53 when adjusting the clutch cable at the handlebar, the directions are inverted. He says turn clockwise but the mechanic and the on screen graphics are turning counter clock wise. Then when he says CCW, it's being turned CW.
RE could you help me out here? 1) Should the pivot lever at the engine side move when the handle bar is moved from left to right and back again? When I turn my handle to the extreme right the pivot lever moves and my clutch tightened up. All of this is without any depression of the lever. 2) Could I have factory routing of the clutch wire with the original RE engine guard fitted? 3) The position of the pivot end lever at the engine side after adjusting is done. 4) Page number in the workshop manual where the detailed procedure is given. All of this is because an RE workshop couldn’t fix my clutch cable after the 1st service and did the following damages a) Burnt a part of it as they didn’t put the plastic hook which is under the fuel tank. b) After their first failed attempt tried to re-route the wire and still couldn’t figure the position of the hook under the tank and this resulted in complete chaffing of the wire due to constant contact with the tank edge. c) After all of this couldn’t adjust clutch play and it becomes tight when the handle bar swings to the right. I ride a GT 650.
Do what with the which now??? Gods, guys, this is a tutorial, not a speedrun. Vary the camera angles a wee bit at least so we can see what’s going on when different steps are taken, and DONT RUSH. SHOW each individual step and its consequences!!
Good collection of illustrative videos. Thank you!

Have you found a solution sir
Is this at the end of the lever or between the lever and its mounting
By 3-4 mm do you mean millimetres? I’m confused 😅
It's 0.3-0.4CM not even 1cm of gap
service manual says 2-3mm, vid and owners manual says 3-4. 2mm is to tight so it must be the latter.
Now royal Enfield mechanic from show room says they updated it to 12 to 16mm
@@krishnabinu4180same for 2024 model?
THANKYOU SO MUCH
Thanks!
