Venables was hard done by at Leeds, constantly having best players sold and not able to by replacements, even the players said how the selling of top players unsettled the whole squad, if he'd been allowed to replace Ferdinand and keep other top players things might have worked out differently??
@@mattmillman8942 Had he been anywhere near as good as his friends in the press particularly Jeff Powell claimed they would have been higher than 16th when he was fired. Added to that poor uefa cup and FA C defeats
@@mattmillman8942 spot on if it wasn't for the numpty that was Ridsdale selling leeds best players then I think venebles would have no doubt have done a lot better. yes I know venebles didn't do that well at leeds but he wasn't backed by Ridsdale and he had his best players taken off him by the idiotic 78 milion pounds debt that Ridsdale created and the financial mess they leeds were in was awful at the time.
