An absolute brilliant documentary about a truly legendary team, one of the greatest teams this country has ever seen and it was brilliant to watch the legendary clashes versus Leeds United at Anfield in the 70's as a long term Liverpool season ticket holder. RIP the one & only Billy Bremner, Terry Cooper, Norman "Bite Yer Legs" Hunter & of course the late great Don Revie.

@Rees Jones Urban myth my friend. Created by the English media. All down to Frank Haffey shipping 9 against England. Our goalies in the 60s/70s were nothing special. But Leighton and Goram were as good as anything England had in the 80s and 90s. England's weak spot has been goalkeeper since Shilton retired. Every one of them has been an error-strewn disaster. Woods and Seaman were very good. But Goram was miles better than both. Scottish players dominated English football for 50 years. Every club had a Scottish backbone until about 1988ish. But whether it's Scots, Scandinavians or South Americans, the best players in England have never been English since the 50s. It's why you'll never win a tournament again.

Leeds had a strong Scotuush connection in tte 50s too. As a small boy, my favourite player was a wee Glaswegian by the name of Georgie Meek. Like Pete Lorimer, he could pick out his centre forward with pin point centres from the right wing. He had the incomparable Welshman Joihn Charles as his target man; Pete had Jones and Clarkie. Agree with Eddie that the Review side was broken up too early. The two Scotsmen had come in and Tony Currie (also a phenomenal player) too. But a weak Board caved in to media cliches and players like Norman, Billie and Peter and Terry Cooper were prematurely released, as were Clarkie and Jones). The two younger Scots, sensing a lack of ambition, then jumped ship. So we were left only with a Rolls Royce (Paul Madeley - my favourite among a team of great players) and a brilliant berr belly of a player (Tony Currie) to keep us going until the predicatble relegation in 1983.
