This chainsaw has worked for me for several different yard jobs. Cut some big branches off a tree. Cut down a Cypress tree about 10" in diameter then dismembered it and hauled it away. Cut some shrubs down I wanted removed, etc. It has saved me hundreds of dollars from having to hire professionals. The main downside of this saw is the oil will leak if you leave it in there. But I have seen people complain about this on many different brands of saws, so it seems to be a "thing" with how some of them are designed.
I just bought this, tried it out I do love it lots, But I only bought it just for little jobs where i don't have to pull out my bigger one, I needed something that would cut down 3-6 inch types of trees, branches ETC...
It's a cheap ( $64) electric chainsaw. I'm not planning on logging with it. If it can cut a twelve inch tree or branch and lasts a couple of years or so, I'll get my money out of it. A decent, residential grade, gasoline chainsaw would have been between three and five times as expensive. Unless you plan on using it a lot, you can't really justify the cost.
yeah, ours knocks em down to 20$ at the end of the season.. i swoop em up and sell em online for 40-50$.. yeah its junk, but it does just fine for most folks who arent lumberjacks.
Yes it is good to cut your normal size tree branches. I used it to clear about a 40' x 20' area in my yard that had palm trees and several pine trees. It worked well, just had to pull out the chips ever now and then that build up around the chain and sprockets.

Thanks for the review of the saw. Checked out the store and got some stickers👍.
Thanks for the kind words and support 🙂.
Use it one time , it's paid for itself.
For sure, it already has.
@@MattLundquistVW can't go wrong with it. If you used it daily , I may not agree. Looks good from here
It is definitely not up for daily use. But for someone like me that needs to trim or cut down a tree every now and again it should do the job.
@@MattLundquistVW good deal then.

Haven’t used it yet. Filled it with oil. Now the oil has all leaked out all over my garage floor. Whattaheck
Dude same! Replaced with another one. Now it's leaking! Wtf!?
Question what oil does it use
It use bar and chain oil, you can get it at lowes or home Depot. But I use used motor oil as I'm cheap LoL.
@@MattLundquistVW any kind of bar and chain oil?
@@lashan4636 yes
Will it be good for cutting tropical tree branches?..are a little harder..

@@MattLundquistVW how much oil does it need?
@@basilioa.padilla6310 not much maybe 4-8 oz
I didn't have high hopes for it when I saw it come out of the box, but who knows.
We will see. If I can get more than 10 uses out of it it will more than pay for its self. I is definitely not professional grade lol.
What oil it takes?
Bar and chain oil, it's sold at your local home center.
thank you
So it should do pretty good with small trees
Will work great for small trees. I've just got done clearing some land behind my house, and it cut some fair size trees without a problem.
That’s great I was looking at one of these today actually lol
@@quentinb6089 for the price it's a good buy.
Need this for the teddy bears my x Gon try to give me
The one with the lithium battery is way better
My chain keeps falling off
I had to apply tension to the bar while tightening the chain. The built in tensioner is not very good.
@@MattLundquistVW I couldn't get it tightened - failure
It looks like a cheap gas can with a chainsaw blade on it. Probably not powerful enough for a brake. LoL
It works surprisingly well. I cut down a 50'x50' area full of cabbage palms and several 10" diameter pine trees and it still works.
@@MattLundquistVW I saw (no pun intended) a couple videos with it, it did do better than what I thought it would do.
Why have it still plugged up it runs without the cord😂😂😂
It is a corded chainsaw, requires electrical cord to run.
