You explained the setup flawlessly, I wanted to make sure that I was doing everything right and not break it, haha. Now I can confidently proceed getting it setup, thank you!
I got the 20" 50cc on sale $130 regular $220. I did have to cut down the hand brake spring as was too stiff would kill the chain starting and under cutting load. Once did that has been fine. Are videos how to do this. From what I could find black max saws are assembled by black and decker from Honda engine parts that honda sells to other companies that didn't meet honda grade quality control.
Thanks fir watching. Yes unfortunately a lot of chainsaws can be difficult to start. I wish I knew of an easier way. If I find a way that is easier, I will definitely post it.
@@techguyhowto4602 I have same problem, as small woman , I have no strength to pull the cord 😕😕 I need help too, please . same problem with snow blower
Great, you got it started. The one I bought never started, so returned it. Walmart wants them back without gasoline in them, or they won't take it back till you dump the gasoline out. I was disappointed, but it's not my job to make their product work or repair it, easier to just return it.
Sorry to hear that you had a problem with the one you purchased. I’ve used mine quite a bit & so far no problems at all. Walmart is usually good about returns, I can understand needing the gas out ...it’s a safety hazard.

I've been lookin to pick up one of these, great review video...
Got one of these in a pinch last year, watch the screws in this saw they have a tendency to back out and vibrate loose.
Yeah same with Craftsman I lost one while cutting
Black Max says have chain brake OFF when starting, right, because it goes straight to full throttle until trigger is pressed?
Dude, messy…messy. Spilling everywhere. 🤣😂🤣
What type of gas did you use?
*10th Subscriber here! Nice video! Was thinking of getting this saw from Walmart looks pretty good for the price!*
This saw is made by the same outfit that currently makes the Craftsman chainsaw sold at Lowes..
The break will not release for the chain to turn what do you do

Nice I have two of these
What kind of oil for the bar and chain
It should say right in the bottle , bar & chain oil.
You can pick it up at Walmart or any hardware store usually.
What do you do if it throws the chain
Put it back on
Starts and runs great. Chain not moving when trigger is squeezed. What am I doing wrong?
Make sure the chain brake is released. Pull back on the chain brake flap to release it.
@@cheetahmikeyirm2179 thanks for the reply. I will make sure it's completely engaged.
What if the break will not release how do you fix it
Mine after I start it up just runs really fast and then stops. Do you know how to fix it?
How do you unstick the blade?
Wedges or use another saw
Half choke sand the trigger kills my saw every fuckin start haha
Just saying its not a chainsaw blade its a called a chain hinz the word CHAINsaw not a blade saw
