Beautiful.Taking farm house as reference and changing all whole surrounding creating lovely perspective..wonderful…Happy to watch whole process…brush strokes …etc..
I've been watching painting videos for 6 years and this is by far my favourite! I can easily watch this video multiple times. I love your style and your approach.
Hi Colley, Your brush work on this study is amazing, such dexterity! Hope you had a total success in Avignon and Paris? Perhaps you could be the European Agent for ‘Archival Lean Medium’ ???? I ask as I have tried every angel and every country but impossible to get it to UK or Ireland? I’m trying out Jackson’s ‘Chelsea’ lean & fat mediums at the moment but worried about their performance? So appreciated our workshop in Cinque Terre back in May, Trish Findlater
Good one, Colley, I'm becoming a fan, even though I do mainly "pure landscapes", plein air and studio, without any human elements (as you mostly do). Here in Arizona, where the beauty of the natural land is mostly "uncontaminated" by the mark of man, there's so much to paint, w/o adding buildings or other "constructs". That said, it is pretty funny, since my first inclination for a college major was Architecture, but I later switched to Biology for my degrees. LOL. Good comments along the way as to the process and thinking regarding the work. You are not like most You Tubers who just "film" themselves painting and say nothing, but often play some really hideous "music" as background. Thank God for mute!! ;D Yes, when the small brush comes out it's "dangerous", so, put an egg timer on, for a few minutes, and don't cheat when it goes off, is my advice, to everyone who paints. Nice long one of a studio painting, but please do the same for a plein air painting. There is so much that is "different" out there under the sun, as you will agree. At least you don't have bears and mountain lions down there in Australia, eh!! Yeah, we do have some snakes too, especially here in beautiful Arizona! LOL :D

I love this artwork. I love your content all together and was wondering if you can do a New Zealand full tutorial.❤❤
Something we’ll definitely keep in mind.
Your work is beautiful. I"m all for using artistic license as long as the piece still captures the essence of the scene.
