Good to see Maximum Spider enjoy the game, I was there during the rough start, but yeah, when Max just started to enjoy traveling around and doing Spidey things, you could see he was really feeling it

This game's intro scenario is actually pretty tough considering it's a starting tutorial level.
I like it just jumps you right into the action instead you going through swinging loops like a idiot
I think the ending of this video describes Spider-Man as a hero perfectly.
I loved it when you started playing spidermans theme from mvc3 when you were beating up those thugs very nice touch.

That being said the combat looks pretty damn good in this one, much better than I expected.

Iron Avenger honestly, I don't even know if this is the best Spider-Man game.
IAmTrashMan fair enough. I only had a few hours with it but I'm not that impressed. I personally love Ultimate Spider-Man but that's largely due to Venom 🤷🏻♂️ gotta play more I guess. I doubt this will top God of War tho

Combat is simple but really tests your reaction time and special awareness. THIS is how any game should do melee combat. Simple, but fun and challenging
@@daltonwilliams1723 Exactly and there are actually conbos in the game and you can make your own. No 2 fights feel the same when you try to be creative with how you go about it.
@Dalton Williams Combat doesn't have much depth aside from using your gadgets. But's it's really lenient with the time your given to follow up an attack.

This so encapsulates the experience of the game. There is so much done right. And like any game it can still tick you off sometimes. And to think this video was back before Ultimate difficulty was put in.

Well damn... I was REALLY on the fence about this game, but after seeing how much joy it brought to guy that's not even a big Spider-Man fan? It warmed my cold, Arachnid hating heart, and convinced me to pick up the game.
I swear that ending was my play session on the first night. 4 in the morning and stopping a crime scene led me to a fisk construction site.

The Spider-Man that gets you out of a parking ticket by smashing the meter is my kind of Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
The bulky thugs are voiced by the same VA as MVCI Thanos. It's actually him covered in a hoody and baggy clothes. He fell intto lowly crimes after they both failed to give him the infinity gauntlet and make a long lasting fighting game.
God, the ending of this video is so true. I gotta work in the morning, its 2am, and every got damn time that red icon pops up I just GOTTA DO IT
I am playing on normal. When I first started I was getting my ass handed to me. I loved Spider-Man 2 and I guess I wasn't expecting just how complex the combos and combat would be in this game. It took me some time to adjust to the combat even though I have played Arkham etc. I feel I have a much better grasp of using all of the tools at my disposal, the environment, gadgets, counters/dodges, etc.
This game is a gem. Captures very well the life of spider man. You just wanna do your thing and fucking crime a few blocks away? Can't ignore. Uh-oh, sorry MJ, I'm late again. :3
