Me and my friends, about 20 of us had moved to Tahiti from America- and we have to say mango farming there has been such an amazing experience- especially for my friends Dutch and Hosea- life changing experience. The law is not too strict there too- and it is all in all a lovely experience- highly recommend.
That sounds like an incredible adventure! Moving to Tahiti with a group of friends and engaging in mango farming must be a truly unique and rewarding experience. It's heartening to hear that it has been life-changing, especially for Dutch and Hosea. The relaxed laws and the overall positive experience you've described make it even more appealing. Thanks for sharing your story, and it's great to hear that you highly recommend it. Wishing you all continued success and joy in your mango farming journey in Tahiti!
I went there for two weeks on a budget ... Instead of staying on water bungalows and eating at high-end restaurants, I stayed on Teah-ah-poo at owner hotel-restaurant who were once travelers! The lady cooked and sold me 3 meals where the guy took me to show all around the Tahiti island. Told me about the very large eels who were according to him their ancestors! Had a rental car with unlimited mileage, so roamed around very spot and it was so relaxing ... the breeze, ocean, mountains, waterfalls, spring water, people, beer food, fresh fruits, everything. Took my car to Moorea on a day trip (via a launch) which was even more relaxing and breathtaking ... for RELAXING ! I still sometimes go there in my dreams ... So much I learnt from Polynesian people ... but they are different from Hawaii people here. I want to go there again with an agenda to see pearl farming, mango gardens, and taking boats to roam round ... Skipped Bora Bora but If feasible, will do that too ! All islands are similar but not the same ... People are living in heaven there. But no industrial level consumption! And the mineral water comes via mountains' waterfalls which is FREE ! * Thought I should write about my experience ! * I live in NJ US since 1996. * *Luv4rmNJ* * All of us are humans! *Some people(races) practice, and are focused on killing and grabbing from other humans in the name of some excuse ... called "GOD", "Country" or "civilization" !!! * Unfortunately they reign on earth ! * They wish to go to Mars/Moon/etc. ...make movies ... but I highly doubt !
Why do you say that? It definitely doesn't belong to the French.. I understand the colonizers are straight up delusional.. And I know all indigenous were assigned the task of protecting the lands they lived on. So does that mean they all failed?
My favorite movies are Mutiny On The Bounty (1962) and The Bounty (1984) I hope to have a pacific gf someday, no matter whst island she's from, anywhere from Hawaii to Tahiti
It's great to hear about your favorite movies! Both "Mutiny On The Bounty" (1962) and "The Bounty" (1984) offer captivating stories set against the backdrop of the Pacific. And your hope of finding a girlfriend from the Pacific islands is wonderful. Cultures across the Pacific, from Hawaii to Tahiti, are rich in history and beauty. @RoamandRelax maybe you should leave the documentaries to the locals. You’re asserting yourself as the “expert” because you did you “research”. You’ve romanticized our Polynesian islands much like your ancestor Margaret Mead.
Real? Maybe you should face facts! It’s been proven a long time ago by DNA (humans, plants and animals), as well as linguistic evidence that all Polynesians on their maternal side can trace their ancestry back to one single Igorot woman in the Philippines. Even our colonizers recognized this so did Kamehamea of Hawai’i Nei! Theories? Sure, the “Out Of Taiwan” theory has been debunked due to recent archeological evidence which was the last piece of the puzzle, which again show how the indigenous Taiwanese also come from the Philippines! The Philippines is the ground zero of Austronesian expansion into the rest of the Pacific! Polynesia was the last place to be settled on earth and my culture is way older than yours. Where did you think you got outrigger canoes, and tattooing from? Besides log drums, nose flutes, taro, and your mythology? Our tattoo tools have been carbonated as far back as 4000 years! Colonial mentality and religious brainwash much. Please decolonize and heal! CRINGE! No such thing as Polynesian 4000 years ago🤣🤣🤣 Even lei/ei making originated somewhere else and was taught and brought with the 1st waves of migrants/settlers… ignorance is bliss! AUE! Probably Samoan as usual🤡
If you're going to produce a "documentary", you should probably learn how to properly pronounce things and places ! Do a little research before you pretend to know what you're talking about.
While Tahiti is undoubtedly a beautiful and culturally rich destination, it's important to clarify that there is no evidence to suggest that Tahiti or any location has the ability to cure cancer. Cancer treatment and research are complex fields, typically involving medical professionals, advanced therapies, and ongoing scientific study. If you or someone you know is dealing with cancer, it's crucial to consult with healthcare professionals to explore evidence-based treatment options and make informed decisions. Always rely on medical experts and established treatments for addressing health concerns. If you have further questions, it's advisable to discuss them with a healthcare professional who can provide accurate and personalized information.
