- Two vehicles from the Misadventure 4WD Club take on the epic Old Coach Road on Cape York from Laura to the historic gold mining village of Maytown.
It took almost 9 hours to tackle the short 55km trek much of it in low range.
How good is it watching you guys problem solving. Great vid.
It's been a long time and eventhough I've seen this one before i still enjoyed watching again. Miss your stuff and hope you start regular uploads of some fresh adventures again.
Wow back after a 3 year hiatus! Welcome back!
Thx Frankie.
excellent footage guys.
Great to see you back !
Greetings from a dull rain sodden UK !
Glad to see you again! Please keep uploading
Great seeing the camper handling the rough stuff.
Glad I stayed subscribed to your channel. Great to see you back. I plan to ship my Series 2 88" to Australia in 5 years time. I hope not to encounter terrain like that! Looking forwards to part 2.
Awesome vids guys! What's the diff locker set up in the Triton??
twin air lockers James.
Welcome back!!
you made graham and shauno look like idiots when they had to winch over rock steps on old coach road.....good stuff bloke
To be fair to those guys, we went in the opposite direction (North to South) and went down that rock step. We'd have probably winched going up too with the trailer on the back...but the Triton would have made it ;-)
Is this a re-upload? Could of sworn I've seen this before...
Yes it is mate - we've had horrible issues with UA-cam over the last 2 years and they have been unable to fix the issues with a number of our most popular videos. Bloody criminal. So we are starting by re-uploading those that can't be viewed and will slowly get onto some of the vids from our trip to Cape York last year.
@@Misadventure4WD you know things are bad when the UA-cam crackdown can effect a honest family channel such as yours. I'll be looking forward to your cape trip uploads. Keep up the good work mate
Part 2? new videos?
what tires does the defender have on ?
She was wearing Cooper ST Maxx all terrains on that trip. Now running BFG KM2's.
What happened to the RR sport in the end?
We let her go George. Blown motor. Those models have a badly designed PLASTIC' front water jacket that over time with heat and pressure splits wide open dropping all of the water in about 10 seconds and seizing the motor. Whoever designed that for Land Rover should be taken out and shot. It's happening to lots of those motors when they start to age.

Where’s part 2?
If it's not showing up, it's probably part of ongoing issues we had with a range of videos that we set up as pay per view. We're honestly fed up with youtube. They have not been helpful in rectifying the issues at all and we've been contacting them regularly about this for more than 12 months. Apols you can't see it.
OMG, does this mean we will be seeing more videos into the future, missed yous, you got my 4wd bug going 5 years ago and since then we've done the gulf country, Birdsville Track, Cape York, Lorella Springs.
Love hearing people being inspired to explore this amazing place. Sounds like you've been busy doing just that with some epic tracks already ticked off. Hope you have The Kimberley and Simpson on your to do list ;)
