The owners of the RRS is also the owner of the black SVX Defender you see in this and other videos. The RRS is still around but a little less used of late while the Defender is still in the build process. Will be using both vehicles for various off-road duties depending on the trip.
Gracias desde Spain!!! Thanks for that from Spain!! amazing vid, gorgeus animal and views.... everything is top 10!! I miss your D4 friend!! Your cars is so cool. I'm definitely jealous.... This trip is one of my dream trips!!! Thanks for sharing one more time Jamie and friends...
It was the off-roading that brought me to your channel, but these less "extreme" vids are great, too - I feel like I've been on a 13-minute holiday from the dreariness of my studies and the British "summer". Keep them coming :)
It was actually mid July and the water was the result of a big storm that blew through for an hour then disappeared. Happens a lot up there at that time of year.
thanks for sharing, but just curious, can Americans bring there own rigs and explore your trails? thinking of coming there on a month long vacation , being 6ft8 and a big man the small trucks and SUVs just don't fit
+Jack Caldwell you are a mountain of man Jack at 6ft8. Definitely need your own rig. I'm not sure about the import laws mate but we do have a few vintage RHD yank tanks over here so I imagine it would be possible. I know other people have shipped over big touring rigs so I can't see any major problems. Drop us a line if you're heading down under
+MrMan First sign of brake probs were loss of pedal pressure. Once we realized what was wrong we could only clamp off the broken line and continue on without brakes. We eventually got some brake fluid 3 days later at Laura and then bled out the brake line and ran on 3 brakes. ABS modulator then blew out and lost traction control.
+Giancarlo S We run the Hema 6 on the windscreen and Hema 4WD app on the iPad. The only downside to the Hema App is having to pay for all of the 25,000 topographic maps. You also need to pay for them separately for the navigator so you effectively pay twice for the same thing.
Great video, beautiful imagery.
Thank you! Cheers!
Most enjoyable. Thanks for posting!

It's a bit like that for us too. We often go back and watch these movies to remind us of why we are working so hard and where we'd rather be.

Amazing ! Where is your friend with the Range Rover Sport ?
good thing you guys had a Triton to help rescue the Landrovers, Ha Ha
Unfortunately the D4 had to retire a few days prior to this section due to a faulty starter motor.
Is this defender's cam?!

Petrol. Had 1 spare jerry can on the camper just in case. Fuel is plentiful around the Cape
What happened to the brakes in the defender after the tree branch

Thats a nice Triton!, Any build specs on it?

Sorry
The extreme low gearing definitely came into it's own.
Is that the Hema Map on that screen? Please give details.

Hi guys, lot of water on the track! Was this just after the wet? I'm up in October so here's hoping she's a bit drier!
You should put up a nice fitting profile picture for your channel! :)
