He was brilliant in Chopper, spellbinding in Munich, and hilarious in The Castle, an old Aussie film. No matter what film he appears in he dominates the screen. It’s nice to hear Rogan giving him the credit he deserves.

Chopper is an Australian legend. One of the best movies ever. Eric Bana"s portrayal of Chopper is epic, no one could come close. I have watched it countless times, I actually just watched it on UA-cam a week ago. Not sure how long it will be until it's taken down. If you haven't seen it, you're missing out.

I always remember in the very early 90s when he was just a young and up-and-coming comedian. Not even a headliner. He was absolutely fucking hilarious.
I actually got to meet the real Chopper Read once. He was full as a boot and I made a comment that made him laugh. He hugged me for it. Something I'll never forget

Chopper Reed was also a gentleman. I met him at a holiday resort he was quite pleasant he was on his honeymoon with his latest wife it was a few years before he died from cancer
