This just arrived on my doorstep last weekend and I’m loving exploring it already. The terrain is very simple to make and I can’t wait to start playing the missions. Reminds me a little of Warhammer quest back in the day. Oh and subscribed! I thought I had already but happy to right that wrong. 👍
Hope you enjoy it! I am keen to hear other peoples opinions on it too. Hoping to get a few friends over and play a few missions, as it looks like a more complex Heroquest, so maybe a good gateway game into other wargames :)
Hmmm...immediately I'm turned off by all the extra bits. One of the great things about the original Heroquest is that it's actually quite minimalistic. There's some nice furniture and doors but you don't have to construct rooms or make the map out of disparate pieces that will innevitably stretch off the table or get lost. Also the paper pads included with heroquest provide the best way to track stats instead of those finicky, little, cardboard chips
@@GRG28248 I understand the hesitation but it’s the little bits that actually make this game great! It does seem like a bit much at first but you get used to it pretty fast. There is so much variety in the different items you can get that it makes every play through very different
I know, that is half a years worth of content! Having a baby must be good for video making! Ooo, good question. It feels "easier", and you have a lot more freedom with you characters. That said, it has more paperwork. The cursed city models are better, but these are still decent. Now I want to play both games for the ultimate showdown!
What I didn't get a free pen!!! That is it I shall totally go online and slam them for their shady business practice and act like a huge ass just to get my point across!
Disagree. I've a bunch of Battle systems terrain for several sci fi skirmish games, 5 Parsecs, Stargrave etc.. Has held up really well for several years.. Just store it properly and don't abuse it.. Stuff is sturdy

I saw the new models painted with 90s colors video (really liked the result tbh), and now we need 90s models painted like modern ones.
I'm loving this game so far, great coverage and overview!
Thankyou! I'm looking forward to trying to get a few more games in.

The game looks great! Fantastic paintjob!
Thanks a lot! :)
Battlesystems are a great operation altogether, and I love their terrain, it looks so good. Great vid as ever
What a nice video!. I love stuff that comes with nice colour terrain.
Me too!
Nice miniature painting!
I got the kickstarter edition with a few expansions
Oh excellent. Have you managed to get a game in yet? I thought the tutorial was genuinely useful, which is nice!
I see Ciara and click❤
Fair. I'd click me more though!

What's this? 2 videos in 3 days? Christmas has come early 😅 looks like a fun little game 👌how does it compare in your opinions to cursed city?

1 star rating incoming. Free pen is life.
Modular cardboard terrain never lasts more than about 6 months. There’s been tons of games over the years that have already proved that.
False. My card Mordheim building still are fine, 15 years later
How much abuse are you doing to your cardboard terrain??

I feel like a creep for watching Ciara videos. I'll do my best to stop.
