@@forestyforest ok ok, you’re right, we actually invented “hide away kitchen” it works on basic wormhole theory, we just fold space and time and step into the kitchen back home to do our cooking. 😉 It was rad hanging with you guys, hope to do it again.✌🏼
@stacky512a Yes, indeed! In my humble opinion, Foresty Forest and Rocko are my favorite channel on UA-cam. Thanks for doing a collaborative video with him, Slow Roamers, and hopefully, you can do another collaborative video again in the future!
Thanks everyone for watching! We hope everyone enjoyed sharing in our experience with our road life friends. It was so awesome meeting up with @forestyforest @adventuretimeloui & @cheapRVliving! Now, Who wanted some of that delicious salmon?!
I would love to have joined you, Foresty and Loui for your meal! I'm very appreciative of Foresty 's recommendation of your channel! My husband and I are truly enjoying every moment of our time with the two of you 💕!!!
Loui graciously gave me some of her wild mushrooms she foraged, as I don’t eat fish! They are so amazing to be around, and they thought me a lot about Alaska! Thanks for sharing this story!
Legends wow! Nice to be in included in a video that also includes both Simon, Louie and Bob , we are honored. Another well told story of two very genuine and nice people. It was very fun to hang with you both and talking travel, vehicles and life. We wish we were going south with you but instead we will follow your adventures through your exceptional dialog and photography. BTW- Foresty may have inspired you in the beginning but you are now inspiring many others! PS: did your new alternator install improve your life in Betty?
Yes indeed, we love your story and will continue ours in a way that mirrors yours. Thanks for taking us in for a few days, it was so good spending time with you both. Yep, the alternator fixed it completely, we’re no longer having any issues with charging.
Never talk for granted how you guys are able to live and experience life. I am sure it is not always easy but you are doing it on your terms. Most of us can’t say.
We’ve run into enough people that have told us that we are “doing it right” and by this time, we’re quite certain this is the right life decision for us. We try not to take our experiences for granted and continue to remind ourselves that not everyone gets to do life this way. Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!😊🙌🏻
Three *of* my favorite UA-camrs, but definitely in the top. For years the only UA-cam I ever watched was @CheapRVliving. I discovered @SlowRoamers via @AdventureTimeLoui's video and subbed, then watched @ForestyForest's video the next day. Such a great meetup!
The fish looked good & the carrot cake nice having company once in awhile to visit with. And being able to stay a few days & get work done on the van a plus. Thanks for posting i'll be here next week waiting for the new adventure
The salmon looked delicious! Did Meg try to pet the moose?? I’ve met a few of my UA-cam heroes over the years and I can appreciate that “fanboy feeling.” Most have been great, I can only think of one who was a bit of a jerk, but his wife was cool (I won’t tell you who that was unless I get you tell you in person some day!). Community is key, you’re right. UA-cam gives a false sense of it sometimes, but having a partner, even a berry-eating fiend like Meg is the key to life! Looks like a great time in Alaska. I hope the new alternator fixes your problems and I wish you continued happy slow roaming!
She didn’t because I warned her not to…that’s the only reason why she didn’t.🤣🤣 To play the devils advocate (not that being rude is ever acceptable), I think at some point people/channels get to a size that they’re recognized everywhere they go. It’s hard maintain a friendly face for everyone when you’re trying to get somewhere. Anyway, that sucks you didn’t have a great experience with whoever that was. It’s been a great time in AK and eel accented by our time with friends. Spoiler: the alternator totally fixed our issue. Thanks for watching, friends!✌🏼

So relatable!!! @forestyforest inspired me to do the same. Ultimately, I was always going to leave the "real world", but he made it seem possible. And, then a few years after travel, I decided to start capturing my experiences too on video. LOVE watching your videos. Well written, excellent cinematography, and yes.... Take care as you travel. :). Next week we will be delayed on watching, but we will catch up! (Oh Meg - I am glad you got a break from cooking, although we can see you really enjoy it and are very creative. Too bad the Thai you looked forward to wasn't what you expected. I was thinking you could just add a few more of your spices and then you could enjoy! LOL. We love your free roaming spirit!).

First time seeing your channel. Really good. Follow all your new friends. I've lived in Alaska and trsaveled a lot of it. It's big with lot's to see and do. Tough as heck winters of 70 below. So adjust your schedule southbound by the end of September. You'll catch autumn two or three times like that. Take care . See you next week
As usual, great scenery and lots of fun watching you connect with like minded friends... that is truly special!! BTW: Speaking of alternators, I just had mine replaced as well, and had electrical issues... so I will learn from that as well. Safe travels on the continuation of your journey, and will check in again next week!
Thanks for sharing. Found you through Forrsty Forest. As a driver of vans for a living, getting my hands on an old high mileage vehicle, one the first thing I do is order a new starter and alternator, to have them installed. Also spark plugs and coils are on the list. It helps eliminate source issues. Safe journeys.
