Rendering will engage all the cpu and gpu and can heat up the components, they are built to whitstand those demands but not for extreme amounts of time. If you do single frame renders every now and then you should be fine, but rendering for a lot of hours non stop could degrade the thermal paste faster
Ah great question! It depends on the client and the region, a small client in Mexico might not be the same a mount to a medium sized client in other parts. If this was for a small local client here in Mexico I might charge from 75 dllrs all the way to 150 depending on the complexity of the product and how much time it will take me. However it always changes and my best advice is to always ask your client what their budget is and offer them a solution based on that budget.
