Drain the water separator and put transmission fluid in the fuel in the fuel tank it'll help condition the injectors make it run better will also help with cycling key switch five or six times for the glow plugs to warm up when it's that cold
Yep, number one you’re not supposed to pump a diesel when you start it and they’re using starting fluid on a call diesel engine yep rookies all the way
Its all been replaced. And again for the 3rd time in a row it's the injector pump o ring if I remember correctly. I gave up changing it and just add oil wen it's low. Most of it ends up in the vally
Those 7.3’s were a piece of crap. The only thing harder to start were the DV550 Internationals. Those two r sisters. Don’t rev it like that cold, my buddies throttle stuck and it cratered the engine. Expensive to fix
That's bullshit the idi ford is the best motor out there. Seriously, can take anything and if you maintain it right start as good as a Cummins 5.9l. I've started 6.9l at 12f without new return lines two bad glowplugs. That was the 6v version. With 12v bullet style and manual plug control they'll start below that close to 0 if you maintain the fuel system. I love the idis best motors built. Of course Block heater for two hours and it starts at -20 and is warm quick. My 2002 5.9l HO started down to 5 when it had 40,000 miles then got stubborn. Now it struggles warmer. 6.9 and 7.3 idi are the best out there.
That 7,3 sounds great. OMG either lol Just next time starting hold that peddle to the floor. Pumping only gives it fuel when it to the floor. So hold it down.
Badass truck!!! I love it!! 👍👍👍👍
Thank you

Looks like you were struggling driving in the snow, did you put the 4 wheel drive gear in?
I dont use 4x4 unless i absolutely have too. So pretty much wen it stops moving or wont go then ill use it
You gained a new sub
Watching these two is a comedy of errors

Suchs rookies you 2 no it all congrats
@@RustyNutzTruckz congratulations dumbass you’re a rookie yourself
You’ve either got fuel supply (lift pump) or fuel injection problems( injector, icp ipr)

That’s not a bad looking pick up truck gonna be a 73 right
Yup it's a powderstroke
It’s not good on any vehicle to sit there and rev it up when it’s cold as fuck out all the oil is at the bottom but it’s your vehicle
It loves it. Just ask zip ties and bias plys
IDIs don't care they'll take anything.
Video is confusing and disturbing
Don't watch it........

I have more motors and trucks laying around if something brakes then we just park it aside till there's time to swap parts
