A trick I saw from another UA-camr: Once you unlock signal tower, missile launchers have pretty much infinite range. Just build a bunch back at your main base then plant the tower at the edge of the Dark Fog range and the launchers will go to town. There is a delay in missile arrival of course, so you probably want to go more saturation affect but it is very effective.

The factorio player in me is screaming how bad the bus is built out…sticking to one side for manufacturing allows you to expand the # of resources you can bus
Do you reorganize your whole bus if you add more resources? So like going from 2 belts of iron plates to 4, do you just stick the 2 new ones anywhere, or do you reorganize so they are all next to each other?
We start building the bus with 4 lanes of each resource. then we leave about 4 tiles of a gap, and then we start the next lane with a diffrent resource. Ussualy 4 lanes arebenough, but if you need more you can probably just add 4 more lanes.@@BigGameBargainHunter
You shouldnt be building a bus in this game to begin with. I mean, you can, but its not anywhere close to efficient.

Embrace the spaghetti, direct insert as much as possible and puzzle bits into and onto the factory, let it grow in every direction, no bots, no bus, just buffers and beltweaving everywhere. No sushi I'm not brave/mad enough yet

The items the dark fog enemies drop increase with the level of the site sending them, they include items that are necessary for some really cool new items and buildings, as well as iitems that are really annoying to build or are unobtainable on the starting planet, if you can find way to farm them (note that the battlefield analysis base collects enemy drops in their radius) it can make the early to mid game a much smoother experience.

This game in the first early access version in 2021 was better and more densely packed than some games after 3 years.

Can't believe Pravus is giving DSP another try after several years of waiting... I was planning to recommend this game, but I guess no need for that now lol
Edit: Based on devs team, there will be another huge combat overhaul later this year, they plan to add space battle, space port that hosts your fleet, and even planetary weapon for ultimate showdown.

Right now, this is the game of my LIFE. There is always something to do.
But I think this is not a game for a lets play in your style. It just would take hours and hours to record.

Wow, l'm really early.
The channel "Nilaus" taught me that busses and resource caching is the wrong way to play this game, since logistics with drones later consume so much power. Instead simply rely on either a belt of solar or plastering the polar regions, and make perfect ratio builds with iron, copper, stone etc being the only inputs.
Need end product of belts? Calculate total of Iron and copper required, and built the whole chain from smelters up, only import the ores.
The advantage is that there will never be bottlenecks, yes, you will have a massive chain for everything, but you will have zero logistics issues.
Same goes for science cubes.
His perfect ratio videos from some time ago showcase this idea, I was sceptical at first, but it made life, logistics, and power production so much easier.

Something that always jars as being too "gamey" in games like this is when you have to research everything.
Why, as a mech constructed by a species that has gone so far as to having become digital consciousness, would we have to research how to make magnets? Or ANY of these researches?
These are all things that should already be known and the blueprints for all the items should be on the mech. Research should be irrelevant.
Yeah, I know it's how games like this always have research to make the game take longer to play, but it's very out of place.
I love this game, it's amazing, but these things really jar me out of the game's world, as it really makes no sense.
