I live for this two-wheeled life! Funny thing is...he took my advice from my closing statement and purchased his first motorcycle this month. He gets it now...

Immersion, that's what riding a motorcycle is all about. You are completely immersed in your environment. No cage, no windows, no creature comforts. Just you and the road. There is no better therapy than stripping yourself down and the all bullshit going on in the world to enjoy a few moments of freedom on a motorcycle. Love this vid Adey. You described it perfectly. couldnt have articulated it better myself. spoken like a true racer. i remember my first accident. i shattered my shoulder. while i still had a sling around my arm and shoulder, i was at the dealership picking out my next bike. when i was in the emergency room, all i could think about was missing the track season. before i was fully healed i got a new bike and made it to the last trackday of the season. this was in nyc, so i really didnt want to wait 5-6 months over the winter for the next season..

I got hit going 30 mph on the 405N splitting lanes when a truck decided to exit the carpool lane prematurely crossing the double yellow. Not a single motorcyclist stopped to help me, they went around me.....

Hey Adey, I'm just curious... How many traffic tickets have you received in the 10+ years you've been riding. Just the other day I rode around with some guys, first time ever riding with other people, and broke 120 mph, and now I can't wait until I get to ride like that again, but I'm a bit worried about getting ticketed.
+ryanhayn I mostly get tickets in the canyons at low speeds. Chances of you getting a ticket at 120 is slim. Unless you only do it for a short distance, reduce your speed and ride with traffic again allowing any cop to slowly roll up on you.
