Always a fun show thanks again for awesome :) Keep on making these videos and never let the trolls (Dan the troll Man) bring you down. I appreciate both vintage restoration and also the newer cards. I'm always learning new ways to make my cards look great. Thanks Kurt!
I have a few young guns, they have a paper finish on the front versus a heavy plastic like this. Those ones wouldn’t work. Are there any different ones that you can think of that are built like this?
@@joeypanozzo I’m working on an upper deck 89 Baseball Card right now. Do not soak it. That’s too much moisture. I’m trying with a little bit of moisture right now and I’ll post the results.
I’m not sure. Did it start doing that right away? The ones I’ve done I’ve stood over and watched like a hawk and it took about 17 to 20 minutes to soak the back. Prizm/Optic/Bowman chrome it’s worked. Hit me back, I appreciate the data
It wasn’t right away, 23 prizm took a while but I’ve been trying 23 select and it starts separating after about an hour but also never gets fully saturated. Try a 2023 select nba card next and see how you do
@@Nbr1PHaN sounds good, thanks for the data. It’s weird that it won’t soak all the way in. After taking it out, does it eventually saturate into the middle?
So after working on these select cards for 5 days now I can’t get any consistency out of them. Some seperate in a couple hours, some have soaked over night and not saturated. Some have soaked in around 4 hours and come out perfect. I have no confiedence in trying this with a higher valued card

Thanks for watching. I don’t need anybody else’s approval. As long as I have happy customers that’s all I care about. 🤙🏼
Fantastic video And great results. How about trying it on a hockey young guns card?

Hey kurt thanks for the help lately via messages 👍
Happy to help!
What’s the black pads and are those just regular wood clamps 🗜️?
I have it all linked here: www.kurtscardcare.com/products-we-love
I tried soaking and the paper started splitting. What did I do wrong?

@@Nbr1PHaN I’m glad you did some tests. I’ll try a few select. I’ve had consistent positive results with prizm and optic, and Bman chrome
amazing
Glad you think so!
Does it do dimples?
Not on the front plastic side. Those little suckers are permanent.
what's the secret sauce
Secret
I just use my card spray for these repairs
