      Go for it. Give it a try, but don't get frustrated or focused on perfection. You are never too old to learn how to draw. Thanks for watching.

    Love this...cant thank you enough for doing these. Again, it really helps put the Loomis books into an easy to understand tutorial. Awesome teaching Rusty. 😊

      Taking that amount of information that is in the books, distilling it and being able to apply it is a challenge. But, keep practicing until it clicks and then the fun begins.

    This is the type of teaching I’ve been looking for 🙂
    Will you be doing the loomis method with hands and feet? I know, probably a strange question, just looking forward to learning more.
    Thank you!

    I've been practicing with the reilley method lately. Would you recommend combining these two and using the loomis one to get it more structural ?

    • @prof_nelson
      @prof_nelson  3 місяці тому +1

      Absolutely. Use whatever method that makes sense for you. I work on the Bruce Lee philosophy of "my way is no way". Meaning, learn many ways and use what you need when you need it. The Loomis does give you a great structure to build you figures on.

    The Loomis center line demo needed greater /more clarity. It should not have taken me years to understand what he meant.

    • @prof_nelson
      @prof_nelson  2 місяці тому

      Ok. Centerline on the head, torso, or both? It is easy to overlook some fundamental “thing” when teaching. Thanks for letting me know. I will clarify in future tutorials.

      I also noticed many proof readings errors in many, books. Many ! Those make comprehension ( learning )way harder.
