as an infp, Im not sure if this happens to many others but sometimes when I'm am in a certain situation or place, I suddenly have this feeling as if I'm detached from this world, I even question if what I'm seeing is real even objects near me feels distant for some reason and I feel so far from my brain that I feel I can never come back to the previous normal state, even thinking about this is making me feel that way again. it feels weird and makes me think "wow I'm here now, I'm going through life" it's hard to explain but this is prob an example of me daydreaming and detaching from reality for a unexpected moment
omg I can't believe it Yesterday I was searching about it on youtube I thought that it is something about me I can't believe it that I am not lonelyyyy omg thank you thank you
The eyes moving everywhere was totally true! Some people demand me when talking four eyes: "look at me!". I try to look at their eyes, but only lasted 3 secs 😂
I hate when people demand that, because if I’m looking directly in your eyes I promise I have become distracted by them and have no idea what you’re saying.
Lol the eye thing is so true i struggle keeping eye contact but i know every little detailed gestures or facial expression the person im talking to likewise to the environment.
I did this a lot as a child, I just sat there staring into space daydreaming. The world I went to in my Daydreams was far better than the childhood I was living
Wow, this is exactly how I talk! I never realised it was a function of my personality profile... this is fascinating! Eric is wonderful at distinguishing and outlining these characteristics!
I've noticed that the darting Ne eyes only really occurs when being extroverted, meaning interacting with the outer world. Mainly in conversation with people.
People take my lack of eye contact for low self esteem, and maybe that’s part of it, but I honestly can’t focus on what the other person is saying while making eye contact 😂
When you started talking about the side jaw thing I immediately thought of Gerard Way because I noticed he always does that, and I just looked up his MBTI and he's an INFP
this is definetely one of my favorite videos of you!! I confirmed a friend who i believed tobe infp to be one after all, since he does all these things pretty obvisouly! thanks :D Id like to see one for intp and intj next :)
sometimes I feel like the only infp that makes too much eye contact 😔 I have to remind myself to look away. I want people to feel like I care about what they're saying and I don't feel like I'm doing it unless I'm making eye contact. Which tbh is partially why I like being alone bc when I'm talking to people I have to be doing that to feel like I'm putting 100%. I can't look at my phone or away for too long or I'm feeling like I'm ruining the connection. Even if people don't expect that of me.
I’m hardly ever 100% in reality. Last week I had a moment where I felt like I was finally back in the real world taking in my surroundings as I was driving to work. It doesn’t happen too often anymore. Gotta savor those lucid moments. And in conversation it’s hard to keep on track because so many dots are trying to connect but you’re just trying to find one that’ll make sense in the end. I’m always in my head. It’s very intriguing up there
Can INFPs slowly fall in love? Can they fall for someone, even tho they're not able to yet, because they still haven't forgotten/let go of someone else who abandoned them?
You got their perceiving functions backwards. They are introverted sensors and extroverted intuitors. So I am not sure if your analysis was accurate and you just accidentally said it backwards or if you are analyzing it backwards as well. For example, is the use of lower eyelids really a feature of Ni or is it a feature of INFPs? Can't be both.
@@Pippinlakewood Going into first shadow function Ni when stressed, I do that, too. It can be delusional or useful or hopeless, it depends on situation.
@@Userykp I wonder what would happen if an INFP is "forced" to use Se a lot daily. Will they be a really unhealthy individual or can an INFP healthily "learn" to mimick Se?

I think I am an ISFP but I'm trying to decide if I am INFP because I also do these things. Could you please explain how functions that are not in the type's stack like Ni and Se for example could still be demonstrated?
What I understand is that sensing is most likely to be focused on the present and see things how the way they are, while intuition is most likely to be focused on future, like seeing posibilities or diving deep to see if it has any meanings or patterns
@@guillianacabrera5946 I think extroverted functions are more present oriented so Ne is both present possibilities and mostly "near" future as it's more likely to feel comfortable when far future is uncertain but Ni is a timeless function which also extends to "far" future as it is more far-sighted.
@DianaNguyen Most true INFPs are. A lot of misinformed and mistyped people provide disingenuous info on INFPs. Look up @Lejla and @Lex Morningstar on UA-cam for an accurate depiction of an INFP and our body language.
No, no, no, no. An INFP smile starts at her mouth and spreads across her face. Even her eyes smile! However, it doesn't stop there. When an INFP smiles, it is a whole-body smile. She doesn't just smile with her lower face. Every muscle in her body is alive with that smile. An INFP's eyes do jump around when deep in thought. Hosever, an INFP who is intensely talking to you about something that greatly concerns her but is at the top of her list, will focus almost continually on your eyes, almost as a stare and yet it doesn't feel like a stare. Fi is rarely seen at all, unless the INFP is comfortable enough to share emotions--which are very personal to the INFP! However, there is still a glow of emotional strength about the INFP.
It is really interesting, unfortunately you are wrong about the functions of INFP. No Ni there.. It is FiNeSiTe. But you are explaining a nonexistent type FiNiSeTe. This makes me think you don't really know what you are talking about.. :D
I watched it, and he is explaining how Ne works as the secondary function in the INFP's stack. Looking at the overall INFP behaviour, clearly it will be different than ENFP's Ne, which is a dominant function there. One needs to consider all 4 functions to see how the type works. That still doesn't mean INPF's have Ni.

I've read before that lower eyelids is high Ni but now I'm confused.
Infp has second Funktion - Extroverted Intuition, not Introverted!!!!
