For indoor antennas you like the Flatenna. Best budget indoor antenna I found is the Philips Classic HD(I know the HD part is marketing). It's simple rabbit ears with a UHF loop. Inside it was decent then I tested it outside, I was getting my 2 low VHF channels at 60-65%, my high VHF channel around 80%, and my UHF channels from 75-90%, 65 channels total. For $12 it's probably the best value antenna out there. I'm about 15 miles from the transmitters.

Although I live 13 miles from my local broadcast towers, I still need to use an outdoor antenna due to obstructions such as trees. I tried an indoor but I'd keep losing one or more of the low power stations or even the full power stations would become unreliable. I hired the local tv & satellite company to professionally install an appropriate outdoor antenna and I've been happy with it for several years now.
I've also used an HDHomerun for several years. I can't imagine life without one. I have the Flex 4K which I've been happy with. Although I do have ATSC 3.0 NextGen TV in my market, I tend to stick to the 1.0 channels. If congress ever forces the broadcasters to drop consumer unfortunately digital rights management, I'll be more excited to watch 3.0 channels. If they don't, cable TV nay be in all of our future. DRM will be the death of broadcast TV.

I am sticking with 1.0 channels too for watching TV and recording my shows. For now, I only experiment with ATSC 3.0 tuners.

I got a flat one from Channel Master. Picks up all my local channels. I have it laying flat in front of the tv. I also have one at my vacation condo and it picks up all channels too. Perhaps I’m just lucky but glad I didn’t have to put an antenna on the roof. As far as the Tablo is concerned I tried it but it was very unstable so returned it. From various reviews I’ve seen the Tablo seems to be a hit or miss.

Thumbs up to your videos. I'm a senior I bought my first smart TV about a year ago and did away with my cable for the first time in three years. I live in a small apartment and I live about fifty miles from two major cities. ( Philly & Baltimore) Which antenna do you recommend to get major channels like ABC, NBC, and FOX? Where can I buy them from? Also, I only have DSL Internet. Thank you.

I live about 60 miles from the towers. I tried the antop, I put it on the roof. I only got 2 PBS channels from a slightly closer tower. Any antenna picks?
