It is true what the prophet prophesied 1400 years ago if the signs of the Day of Judgment came from the land of Arabia that there would be the tallest building in the world.
The problem with this tower is that it has no economic case. Emaar already owns and operates the Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest tower in the world. They *already have* the tourist attraction promised by Dubai Creek Tower. It already attracts all the tourists who would want to come to Dubai and see the world's tallest tower. Building another, taller tower won't make more tourists appear, it just means the same number of tourists would be split across two attractions. Doubling the operations costs, splitting the profits, it would benefit nobody. It's much better to keep the tower they already have. Another primary purpose of Dubai Creek Tower was to act as a centrepiece for a whole new city district they were planning to build. There would be tens of thousands of luxury apartments for rich people. But then the same reality hit them: Most of the rich people who'd want to buy an apartment in Dubai, already own one. Building thousands of new apartments won't increase the number of customers. There is already an oversupply problem, with several large-scale projects in Dubai going bust because of it. The whole city district was quietly shelved. What's left is a relatively small island of half-empty residential towers way out in the sticks.

Why are people spending billions to build cities in what is becoming an almost inhabitable area of the planet? I imagine that Dubai, along with the entire area of North Africa, the Middle East, and then even further east into India will become too hot and dry, with occasional massive flooding (Like they had in Pakistan: 1/3 of the country was underwater), will mean more mass migration northwards and less people living there, not more. Building where there is little fresh water and desert like conditions makes no sense. The same can be said for the desert SW in the US and even the west coast - it's a desert climate where you have to import water from 100's of miles away. It shouldn't be a highly populated area, let alone a typical American suburban one, with grass lawns and golf courses.

yeah 1300m tower sure is ecological
Such a big project's delay isn't unusual. From planning reshuffle to adapt the new future conditions, and funding and load structure to politics and environment, any scenario is possible caused the delays.
Such big project don't have such delays.
Good
How many thousand of miles will the solar panels utilize?

i think that the dubai creek tower should be completed because it will bring a lot moore tourists to dubai and bring in much moor revenue.i seriously disagree that what i saw on the internet the whole building should be open to the public not just twenty floors i dont ubderstand why they said that only twenty floors will be accesible.i would like to see the whole two hundred floors open
Why are you still at the 700k subscribers people should keep subbing and they should make you 1 million subs
UA-cam has become a saturated platform. There a large number of UA-camr in comparison to viewers.
Building super tall skyscrapers has reached its limit. If the Jeddah Tower has stopped its construction because of scandals and financial issues, same goes for Dubai Creek Tower.
Not really since they are two different countries. That’s like saying that China can’t make a large tower so America can’t either.
No way.
@@cinemathemostimportant7717 well China has more unfinished supertall skyscrapers than what America and UAE has. Not to mention China's largest undeveloped and unfinished properties that have buildings built but no one moved in due to unsafe standards.
Timing is everything.
Will see you bro will see you ❤
'harmony for the environment'
admit it, thats just so that they can cover up the environmental impact of trying to build the tallest tower 🤦🏻♀️
Even the Dubai mall the small Dubai creek tower is gone
Hey UAE just give me the creek tower I’ll build it somewhere else in the world
They are continuing now
Wow hebat sekali dubai.
There's no end for in this competitive world....I think ..I mean in the Race of Tallest tower in the world... . thank you.
바르게살겠습니다.
Damn guys the live action feel good inc. music video didn’t work out. 🥺
The only arab idea that has ever worked that i've seen are burj khalifa and (so far) lusail city in qatar
Huh?
Roads & more roads. It's all I see.
Awesome Dubai 🌹
Real estate- there is no apartment to get due to demand
It's amusing reading the comments of people, who obviously have very poor knowledge about Dubai's economy and real estate market, predicting Dubai a crash, and saying that they saw abandoned buildings and that the others are half empty and there is oversupply. Some basic research can knock those arguments down in seconds. You can't get a unit in 2022 to buy, line up with a check hoping to get smth. Lol funny people
I think it will be built
I'm sure they will finish it.
Sustainable 😆
I wonder why's it called greek tower🇦🇪
why does it look like a winky?
creek tower with glass? in dubai is there any sand storm in there
No, i don’t believe so
The all of a sudden stopped cause one of them had the idea that this tower would fit in Palestine better.
Btw. In all this towers Khalifa Jeddah Tower and so one not only one refugee has a place. The socialism was outsourced to europe especially germany.
Dubai Holding was intelligent getting out of it
Oh boy, do I love hearing about ridiculous megalomaniac projects in the Emirates, Qatar or Dubai getting abbandonned.
Хотел бы добавить - Я НЕ МАЛЬЧИК!
Saudi was going to build a taller tower, Dubai decided to build this. Saudi gave up. Dubai gave up. They’re competing.
Deadlock situation 🤔... you make first, no, you make first 😝😝😝
how much does it cost to live on the dubai greek tower?
Why are people spending billions to build cities in what is becoming an almost inhabitable area of the planet? I imagine that Dubai, along with the entire area of North Africa, the Middle East, and then even further east into India will become too hot and dry, with occasional massive flooding (Like they had in Pakistan: 1/3 of the country was underwater), will mean more mass migration northwards and less people living there, not more. Building where there is little fresh water and desert like conditions makes no sense. The same can be said for the desert SW in the US and even the west coast - it's a desert climate where you have to import water from 100's of miles away. It shouldn't be a highly populated area, let alone a typical American suburban one, with grass lawns and golf courses.
no it weil not
Since you said creek tower is done at the next 20 years, it’s actually 2036
What did they need this building for? Not enough space in the desert?
I'm starting to notice a pattern where "Dubai" announces bizzare real estate projects, and then it never happens. To no one's surprise.
And I been in bruj khalfa it was amazing but not inside the bruj khalfa I just saw and I t my favourite tower
uds. tienen un solo argumento a favor de la riqueza : acumular y aislarse .....que triste 😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥🥶😱🥶😱🥶😱🥶😱🥶😱🥶😱🥶😱🥶😱🥶😱😵💫😱
No money no honey
Always
Next time just show the media blurb from Dubai
I find it funny the video says, 'It will do (this), it will do (that)', like it is an advertisement for the tower. But when does it actually start explaining why it stopped.... you know, what the title of the video is!
didn't he explain
@@mortal6034 Well, yeah..... after about 5 minutes!
@@tonychan8558 youtube has option for chapters you know. Intro info makes video more immersive
Could it be that someone finally decided to visit a cable-strand bridge and listened to the wind and the sounds? Horrible.
Probably not.
I live in Dubai creek harbor penthouse
