Thanks for that ride! Seemed so smooth and effortless! I also was concerned about deer and other wildlife jumping out in front of you. That was my first ride in a ZR1. It can be a Daily Driver if that’s your thing. Thanks Justin!!!
Justin, Right on man! Thanks for taking us along for the ride in the ZR1. Definitely a very sweet ride for sure! My HPO shirt arrived today, thanks man! Looking forward to Carlisle coming up soon! 29 👍 Currently -Shane
All these people flog these cars in videos to be cool, this is how I drive my HSV 90% of the time. Was relaxing to just watch someone drive the beast normally.
I wish I was local to you. Your ZR1 is exactly my dream car 2nd only to a 63-67 coupe. I've been around corvettes my entire life and I'm sorry, I'm just not a c8 guy. I'm not putting them down in anyway. Nothing will ever take the place of your ZR1. The experience is Corvette all the way from my traditional view point. Don't get me wrong, the new ZO6 is definitely a ripper, but without that view out over the hood, it just isn't the same! Thanks for doing this video, I love seeing your car and the fact that you don't destroy it for utube!!!
If you ever find yourself out this way let me know, I’d gladly take you for a spin. I’m a car guy through and through so I can’t destroy them in any capacity for clicks. I enjoy the ownership, maintenance, and mods too much!
Thanks for that Justin. That thing is truly a beast. Not much of a fan of c7's but I'm a fan of your black knight there with awe. I could tell you weren't laying into it WOT though lol. I bet it loves to roast em!
I visited tail of the dragon / Cherohala skyway / foothills park way last year twice to ride motorcycles the ZR1 would be a blast driving down there!!! Definitely get some exterior cameras setup if you plan to go to Tennessee/NC I live in CT it’s well worth the trip to drive/ride the roads down there!!
Love it bud! Bring her to Maine to visit its Blade Silver brother! Then we will be the only 2 in the whole state at once! That’s rare in itself! And yes mines a manual as well. Only about 650 manuals in US outta 2259 made for US. That’s pretty cool! Mines got 5555 on it. Just rolled over. Great content! Look forward to your Vids about the ZR!
Thank you Justin. Do you have any suggestions as to when to shift gears with a manual? I tend to shift by sound at about 3400-3600 rpms. I pretty much baby the car.
Justin, do you ever get clutch chatter when the car is hot. My manual C7 only chatters from a dead stop in first but only when hot. When the car is cold it drives normal. Any ideas ? Great video. 👍
thank you. The only time I hear clutch chatter is if the car is not in gear which from what I understand is normal. Do you hear it any other time than that?
@@HorsePowerObsessed Thanks for responding, it is my understanding that if you hear a chatter when the car is not in gear that would be the throw out bearing. That is not the case in my car. Question - If the pressure plate is warped would the chatter happen if the car is cold or hot?
@@HorsePowerObsessed I figured as much. Better get that looked at. Probably out of warranty though. By the way not sure how you were able to almost never have someone in front of you. I’m always looking for roads like that. Everything in the immediate area is filled with traffic, stop signs and traffic lights. Not enough open roads around here.
Dear followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep your money safe.!!!👎👎👎👎👎😬👎😬👎👎Share so more people don't get screwed.GM is a big bluff
I’ve been asked for a pov drive so here it is! Would you like to see more like this? 🤔
Does GM do a HUD for the Vette?
Yes sir.
Most people don’t get the chance to drive some of the cars you get too drive and enjoy so yes
Exactly why I do what I do.
Thank you Justin, for taking us along on the ride; keep enjoying your automotive beauty (ZR1); take care !
Thank YOU!
Thanks for taking us along. As a C7 owner (just a GS M7), I love seeing any C7 content and your ZR1 is a beauty!
Thank you! There’s plenty of c7 content to come! Stay tuned.
Wow what an experience and the AWE sounds great. Thank you very much. Thanks for sharing captain.
You're very welcome. Thank you!
Cool!
I’ll swing by there and you can take me for a ride!
I’ll buy lunch!
Absolutely! Let me know when!

Thanks Justin!!!
100% it could be! Very manageable, yet exciting, car!
What I love about this car is it’s the corvette Chevy admitted has too much power. That’s awesome
Couldn't agree more!

💯 I couldn’t lay into it too much in public roads either.
It needs to be in Texas with us on one of our group drives!
It will 100% be doing exactly that soon!

I usually do it by sound myself but depending on how I'm driving (cruising or aggressive) I'll shift right around 3 to 4k or around 6k.

Any 60-130
Or 100-150 dragy times?
Nice! Try turning the go pro upside down next time!
What would that do?
@@HorsePowerObsessed wouldn’t have as much roof.
Interesting. I’ll definitely play with it in the future. Appreciate the tip!
@@HorsePowerObsessed no problem man! That’s what I do for my POV videos it’s almost in front of my face
@@LamboDEB1 I'm assuming that limits visibility though, right?
when you blank out the speed in your video, you should do it everywhere it's visible LOL
It was incorrect everywhere else. 😁👍
Justin you blanked your speed…. But your Radar Detector gave you away.
Correct. The radar detector was malfunctioning, though. 😎
C7 ZR1 #1 so far....

So 70-ish in a 45 eh 😆(Waze narced you out)?
It was malfunctioning and had me located at the wrong place. I have no idea what was wrong with it.

I have since fixed it. The roads near my house are usually empty during certain times of day.
