Despite 4000 hours of playtime, I'm still pretty terrible at surf. That's why I hired Benowy, an amazing CS:GO surfer with hundreds of records, to coach me. Together, we learned an extremely hard map in just under an hour. But not without some hiccups along the way...

This was fun to record, tried to do some new stuff in post like the subtitles & interweave of footage, but honestly not super happy with the outcome. Some stuff probably should have been cut in favor of narrative elements. On the other hand you might actually learn something from all this dry ass content.

i might be spoiling future content, but i spent like 15 hours in loc, was definitely the hardest thing ive done

incredibly well made my dude, the editing towards the start I liked a lot even if in the description you're saying it didn't feel great, was a breath of fresh air for surf content imo. Seeing the final run felt fulfilling after the progress made in the vid + having the voice call ending while showing the actual run was nice, your chats made it feel very natural. Keep it up, you're bringing some awesome content to this gamemode

@@ActuallyKzA so the new pc is still busted, it should be fixed by end of next week i hope, so then i can start again, my old pc i have it running for the tourney but it runs really hot which is kinda sketchy, and there are some hickups etc

shodan was my first tier 7, 13 hours in zone that map almost broke me.. Good job, very fun and interesting video keep it up (btw i had 5k hours on csgo + 500 on css when i beat shodan, no worrys youre not alone out there xD)
Cut it out the vid, but benow mentioned some say shodan t6/5 (which u prolly know). I agree the map isn't hard but length and end chokepoint are really rough. Even tho i had around 17 hours in total, ben unironically saved me a massive headache.

a couple of years ago ben was alone in the server with me and was trying to teach me the curve thing but i was too nub at that time to understand what he was saying, now it all makes sense

Surf is smol right now (and some of my vids just arent that good). Hopefully this summer I can get it some more attention!
