Nice, fast, minimally themed flume ride but the constant safety announcements just destroy this ride. I thought I was in an OSHA convention, not Angel Falls. Once is enough Busch Gardens, four is overkill and unneeded. Great footage though.
Rode the flume at BG Tampa many years ago, seems very similar but thought I recalled the final drop had a bridge crossing the bottom giving people the option to get soaked when the logs reached the bottom, I could be wrong though…😊
@@trentboring3426 A nice idea, but doubtful they would invest the money needed to convert this ride into a lunched flume ride (if it was even possible). They would likely scrap the whole thing and start again as s new attraction.
This classic ride has so much potential. The new paint job was a step in the right direction, now imagine a thematic upgrade with some music, props, a new themed queue, and maybe even some enclosed sections of the ride. They've had success making these kinds of upgrades to attractions at Adventure Island and Aquatica, why not do the same thing here and market it as a new ride?
The section after the first drop seems to have quite a high speed compared to other log flumes.
Yes, it really does. It's flying around the corners!
That was a Spillway Drop originally, which was supposed to have a little uphill section.

Thank you. Yes, have to agree. The announcements are way too much! We were very close to editing them out, but then it wouldn't be an authentic POV.
Fun and easy going with simple theming.
The theming is very simple for sure.
Good memories of going on this ride with my dad when I was a kid.
@@verifiedmilk It's a classic that (hopefully), the park will keep for many more years to come.
I watch these Busch Gardens rides for the exact same reason me and my dad went in them
You know you're in Florida with the numerous safety announcements!
😂😂😂
Please sit upright, hold on tight, and brace for a sudden slowdown at the bottom of the hill. Thank you.
@@DreamscapeSYN 😂
i've never been to a theme park where it's constantly announced like that. how annoying!
@@DreamscapeSYNIve known that saftey announcement in my head my whole life 😂
This is at my home park and it's a pretty good flume ride. You definitely get soaked on this thing!
We love these old Vekoma log flumes, we really enjoyed it 😁

You're probably thinking of the bridge over the old Tidal Wave boat ride attraction? That'd be easy to mix up if it'd been a while!
Great video
Thank you 🙂
Stanley is a classic, but what do you think could be the future of this water attraction?
Hopefully, it will stay forever. Fewer and fewer log flumes are surviving now.
@@XtremeCoastersrevamped as a launch Flume? We already see SeaWorld doing this in San Antonio.

@@XtremeCoasters yeah, I was thinking along the lines of them scrapping and replacing it with the launch flume. I just hope it would fit in that plot.
@trentboring3426 Ah OK, I get you 🙂
Tampa Bay, Florida is beautiful attraction.
Agree 🙂
I know.

They may well do at some point. Classic log flumes are becoming a rarity now, this is a great ride. We really enjoyed it 🙂
I had got on this one yesterday i passed out on sheikra 😂
Why was the op so excited when it stopped?
Nothing wrong with enjoying your job 🙂
When I ride this I’m going to be so safe it’s ridiculous, I’ll know to brace for a sudden stop and hold on tight
😂
an ok flume. has a few drops but final one could be steeper.
I'm early 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
You sure are 😁
I always do rock paper scissors with the people at the top
It kinda reminds me of loggers revenge
@@Adventuresofkaleb15 It's a very similar type of log flume 🙂
A neat hot 🥵 day ride. 🌊🪵
Indeed 😁
The ride looks boring probably fall to sleep to.
If you like lig flumes, it's actually a lot of fun 🙂
That’s how all log rides are
It's a flume betch
