@Snuggles_the_Unholy Thanks 🙂 We rode just after it soft opened after refurbishment. People have commented that a lot of the effects, animatronics, and sound were missing. It was the first time we rode, so we wouldn't know if it wasnt pointed out to us here. We really enjoyed it regardless.
It used to be so much better. Hasn’t been maintained that well. A lot of effects removed like smoke, a grave stone raising and the population dropping by 1. Ghost falling from a balcony and falling in to a water trough with the balcony bannister breaking and the water splashing. Saloon doors swinging open, gun shots fired in to the water tower and it shooting out water. When going up the last lift hill, No audio or visual of you being told to get out of the mine cause they’ve rigged explosives and it is about to blow hence the need to get out fast via the drop.
@donoakes85 Wow, that all sounds awesome. Hopefully, all the features will be operational again now. We rode this just as it soft opened after being down for refurbishment.
@@nsouthie We visited on the off-season, and the ride had only just reopened on a soft opening. When we originally contacted the park to arrange the visit, we were initially told it would not be open, so it is likely that it was not fully operational when we filmed this back in July. It was our first time riding, so we didn't notice anything missing, but we still loved the ride 🙂
Went to movie world in august for the first time this was the first ride I went on it was early morning so the water was super cold but refreshing since it was a very warm day road it twice just to beat the heat lol I love the length of the ride and the attention to detail for the theming is fantastic
@@XtremeCoasters the missing effects are all in the 2nd half of the ride. smoke in the teepee town, the population counter is supposed to fall off, doors and balconys fly open and break in the ghost town with matching sounds, the water tank is supposed to have a leak, and up the top theres a "look out shes gunna blow" sound effect
@@jjperceval Wow, OK. It was on soft opening when we rode, it sounds like all the affects weren't fully operating yet. We were just thankful we got to ride, as it literally opened when we visited after being down for refurbishment. We really enjoyed it 🙂
@@XtremeCoasters oh trust me when i say bar the audio and water tower, everything was working to the current standard. if you rewatch the video at the start of the town section, youll see the part of the population counter that swings off has been removed. you can blame the private equity buyout of the park for that
@@jjperceval Also they're spending all their money on the Wizard Of Oz Land and fixing up Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster at the moment. That would kill two birds with one stone, fixing up this ride and having a proper Looney Tunes themed ride return.
It’s a great ride but it’s looking very old run down and tired about time Movie World spent some decent money and gave it a make over as l think it would cost too much to replace.

@its-straws That's a shame. This was the first time we rode it, so had no expectations or anything to compare it to. We still really loved it, though, it's still better themed than a lot of other water attractions we've ridden.
@@XtremeCoasters What upsets me is the park is rasing its ticket prices but decreasing its offerings so much and as im a local I decided not to renw my pass as they dont deserve my $

They should have a Warner Movie World in the States.
@@maximusprime3459 Agree!
@@XtremeCoastersIf they were smart, any of the Six Flags locations could be converted into a Movie World park.
