I use this device with DaVinci Resolve and love it. It is also very useful as a remote control for my PC, there was a problem with adjusting the volume with the wheel, but I solved it.
Pls i just got it and been trying to find some where showing to add volume adjustment to wheel! If you can share that knowledge you would be a true chad
@@sharinganvisuals6738 Thanks! The application does not have settings for volume and media keys, but you can manually enter keyboard scan codes in the configuration file. To do this you need to do "Export configuration", then open this file in a text editor, find the section, and for Wheel (this is one of the lines W1...W4) you can write this:
4|Volume|V-|V+|174:256|175:256
Then save the file and do "Import Configuration".
You can also configure the media keys as follows:
1|Media Previous|Media Previous|0:0,177:256
1|Media Next|Media Next|0:0,176:256
1|Play/Pause|Toggle Media Play/Pause,Media Play|0:0,179:256
1|Mute|Mute|0:0,173:256

any tips on how you are use this with davinci?
Great video! Thanks. I have a couple of questions. Can I use this macropad for volume control? mute/unmute function? and for combo keys like Alt + H? Thanks
Yes, you can. In the XPPen software, click on the scroll wheel, then choose one of the default functions to modify (zoom, scroll, brush size, or rotate), hit the dropdown menu to select customize, then input the keystrokes associated with volume on your keyboard for the left and right scroll of the wheel. Rename the function (Volume instead of say, Rotate), and you're done.
Mute and unmute is even easier as you just click the button in the software you want to assign that function to and input the keystroke(s).
Too loud music, can't hear as good as you deserve...keep background music extra low...your voice more important than music
i bought this to use with illustrator and the zoom wheel gets stuck and just keeps zooming in and out, so annoying
Any update on the issues you encountered? What keys shortcuts you programmed it with? Thanks
Which command are you using?
Does it work on ipad????
I have a M1 MacBook Air and cannot get the driver installed. Before I return this any tips or tricks on installing the software?
