I might have to pick up a few sets of these. That was extremely impressive being packed with snow and still pulling up on that slick river bank style rock.
I am glad to hear they are grippy. I have some on the way. LGRP tires are some of my favorite, so when they drop a new tire I always get a few sets. Never been disappointed yet! They look same size as the gripper to me. Loving the content Adam! Looking forward to 2025!
Awesome video and sweet looking build, Adam! Hit me up with any questions about set up on the King Snake. I'm part of the DBRC team, and I helped design the chassis, Davie is a rad dude, and he's also a great resource! The King Snake is my current comp rig, and I love it! Keep making sweet content!
I can't believe how well these do on wet rocks, and even with snow on them! I probably won't run much in wet conditions but this is an amazing example of how good these are. Have you tried any other tires in similar conditions?
Lgrp has nice tread and compound but I don't understand why they don't make a tire sized for a normal 1/24 truck. They have 5+ tires that are all effectively the same thing in the same size but not a single ~50mm tall tire
I agree, trying to find tires for fcx24m is impossible. Best I found was injora 52mm tall but I’m afraid they will be too big as well. Would love to find some
Hey man I’ve got a sweet idea for a video especially during the winter time. I’m in Alaska I know the pain 😂 you could do a brand new indoor course build which could be a video series on its own, then do a bracket style competition between all the mini rigs to see which one is the best on the new course. Would be a great way to see the comparisons on weight / tire choice / flexibility etc all while being on a new course !!!
you do a lot of mini tire tests and I know how hard testing can be. maybe you can have just a single rig that you can use to test so that the tire is the only factor that changes. Do the same lines in your indoor course, then outside when you can get the same weather. Do you know what the compound is versus say green or s5?
I saw that Injora made a new bumper set for the SCX24 Gladiator/Powerwagon, where you can put the IR60 body on it. You gonna look at that, in a video, soon? 🤔
They do look nice, would these work for the Scout? Thought when mine comes to get some 1.2s (same tire) just get different wheels, but these might be an option too.
Hey aidan, to clarify, both Cape crawlers and 24yep both have prototype tires that don’t have the exact same compound as the production. The production tires are going to have a slightly grippier feel to them compared to these prototypes you see in the videos. Although they are different, they are also pretty similar and there’s not going to be massive differences between the two. Keep in mind that the build and terrain that these tires are on are also a factor. Keep crawlers and 24yep We’re the only people that received the prototype tires so any other videos you see are of the production compound tires that are available to the public.
SCX24 or TRX4M for starting the crawling world? I have a current TRX4M with my son, but would like to get a couple more different builds. the TRX4M is pretty standard currently.
I ordered these with dj crawler inserts. I’m getting crazy flat spots in the tires and seems like the inserts are sticking to themselves. Juts sitting on the shelf even does it. I can move the tire around with my fingers and it goes right back to being flat again. My wheels are vented. Any fix? I thought about trying to powder the insides to see if it would help but idk.
Hey Adam, where in Maine did you just go to? Curious because I live in Maine also. I'd love to hook up with you and your son sometime and go crawling. I've got 2 children of my own. I'm just waiting to get enough money to replace my servo on my trx4 sport high trail.
Seemed to me he was implying that if there is significant sidewall flex that it may have a knock on effect on body roll, which makes sense. Lower side tyre folding effectively raises the high side.
These didn’t work too well in 24Yep’s video. Are these the actually production or pre-production? LGRP said the ones in 24 Yep’s video had a harder compound than the production ones will have.

Great tread pattern. Simple, sturdy lugs that aren't too deep. Needs more squish/different insert.

Pretty crazy performance considering the temperature there and those wet rocks. Thanks for braving the elements!
Injora inserts are a great budget friendly option that work well.
Your video has convinced me to try these bad boys. Color me impressed with the performance even wet and in the snow. Awesome! Thanks Adam.
👍👍 yeah that’s awesome full of snow and still climbed up that slippery wet rock super cool, again appreciate the video
👍👍 awesome I just got my set of claw hammers still in the package ain’t been able to mount up yet, appreciate the video
Just bought some of these for a fcx24 k5 blazer build! I can't believe how well these did!
Love those tires! The thinner profile gets me 💦
These are the best tires I've ever seen, the grip is very, very satisfying, 🇲🇾👍✅
love the videos inspiring me and many others to start crawling

Bad!!! I love the build!!
I love the Discount tire body!!! Great content

would be nice if you washed the tires first to see the performance without the tire release compound
Really nice tires!

@@96gmctruckbc excellent quality as well.
as always great content...Keep up the awesome job... I need some of these tires for my fcx24 blazer build
Do you have a video of the complete build for this truck?
Not yet but I will make one
Looking forward to see the build breakdown. Looks amazing!!!

Ahh! I need to check that out!
@CapeCrawlers for sure!
Will they fit one the t thunter 1/18 scale
can we get a video on how you made your indoor course for your minis like the mini moab section
Looks like an ok tire. A little disappointed that you didn’t measure the tire after mounting them.
To answer your question on this video, I think they look good and seem to grip real good. I might try them on one of my builds.
love your work, what servo would you recommend for my scx24?
Looks great!
Nice rig. How do they do on foam?
Time to make a new indoor course bud, eh? Would make for refreshing content. Haven't seen any course building vids on UA-cam in a while. 🙏
They do look nice, would these work for the Scout? Thought when mine comes to get some 1.2s (same tire) just get different wheels, but these might be an option too.
Anybody seen the 24yep video yet? I was trying to analyze if they looked grippy or nah

“Insert” or foams? How’s a non foam do?

I love the Claw Hammers I feel they perform better than the Black Labels definitely another win from LGRP!

Those dj crawler inserts are probably blocking your venting. Try venting the tires themselves
I'd like to try them on my mini RedCat Ascent & Axial Basecamp 24
how do i get one of these bodys?
Nice Nice

It's not body roll... It's sidewall flex. Body roll is a suspension thing, not a tire thing.
Seemed to me he was implying that if there is significant sidewall flex that it may have a knock on effect on body roll, which makes sense. Lower side tyre folding effectively raises the high side.
To be fair a tire has to break-in to reach full potential 😊
Always do the required full battery burn out!!
Nice vid!! .. which axles are on that truck?
Injora diamond portals
@@CapeCrawlers Sweet! I'm making my first fully custom build. I'm using the scx24 platform. Do they make these portals for the scx24 platform also?
I need this truck
They wet conditions and them working is what I like. If you were going through mud then up slick rocks, these should grip.
Discount code doesn't work, just a heads up.

I disagree with your findings.
I didn't find them to be an improvement over Swamp Kings, but they're better than Black Labels, but not even close to the jconcepts ruptures.
From the looks of your course it is in need of repairs...
