    Life saver man!! Thank you so much for this. Just got a 13 GS350 F sport and the rear rotors look super rusty. I thought it would be super complicated since it has automatic parking brakes. Your video shows otherwise!! Much appreciated!

    Please open the brake fluid reservoir before pushing the pistons back.

    @XJ Jesse if the vehicle has an electronic parking brake like my GS 300 H has, is there a service rear brake option using the an OBD scan tool ? would that release tension on shoes ?

    Maybe it’s the brakes but gonna ask anyway. Did that set come with wear indicators on all four pads or did he put them on the wrong side?

    Can you just remove the rotors without having to adjust the parking brake shoes? And instead of a bolt, can you just use a rubber mallet?

    what about F sport ? would you consider akebono vs bosch quietcast pads? ever just swap out pads and not change rotors?

    • @mucialmichaud8020
      @mucialmichaud8020 2 роки тому

      If the rotors are not bad, there's no need to change them. It's just a waste of money to me.

    • @mdev8846
      @mdev8846 Рік тому

      No. F-Sport pads brake have different compound ( more soft and sport ). A good option: Pagid Street Plus pad brake.

      It’s doesn’t matter. Whatever you budget can afford. I own an fsport and have changed my brakes twice. I’m doing akebono since it has less brake dust.
      You can do just brake pads depending how worn the rotors are. One way you can tell is by running your finger down the rotors and if it has a lip at the edge it’s time to change them. I’m changing my rotors and brake pads this time around.
      Also, if you own fsport make sure it’s the 356mm size. Oreilly sells them but it’ll run you $140 a piece

      Its called a dust shield or heat shield, you can bend it back it should t have any affect on the operation of the brake system

    This is what happen when you’re broke (kidding ) not broke 😂, you have to do all of them by you’re self , without any friendss or bystanders, I mean it’s a good thing not a hater it’s just how it is , reward you’re self doing it , the brake jobs are getting expensive by the axle charge , doing it cost you nothing , 😮
