u did soo good with thiss ricecloud!! as for me i didn’t put pe foam and i didn’t take out the poron foam on the back of the pcb and just went on and put tape mod on it 🤣 do u think i should take out the foam on the back of the pcb??
oh i see, i'm actually not sure how much of a difference it makes. i can imagine that the foam might filter out more frequencies. not sure if it's worth opening the case again. it was such a hassle for me to do it, don't want to put you through that 😭

Have you and anyone else that bought the Wired K84 have noticed any connectivity issues? Someone on Amazon left a review comment that they had issues. I just wanted to be sure if I'm were going to buy one. Would the D84 wireless keyboard be better for more until the battery wears out?
I've never seen this keyboard layout before, with the long right shift key and the nav keys above the up/right arrow keys, that looks quite good actually. Are there other keyboards with this layout?
the right shift is actually pretty common, i'm pretty sure i've seen a hand full of keyboards which the cluster of nav key, but i cannot remember which brands :c

for the pe foam you put on, do you just push the switches through the foam? does it interfere with the lighting or sockets at all?
yes, i pushed the through the foam without pre cutting holes for the pins. not sure about the rgb impact
I got the same keyboard and the W key stopped working. I've found the problem which is under the switches one of the sensors seems to be stuck. Is that a common thing for keyboards or is my keyboard just faulty? I've tried to look up videos on what its called but can't find any. Any chance you know what i could do, or what that part of the keyboard is called?
not sure if you mean the switch (bent pin) or you're referring to the pcb (where the switches sit on) most of the time its bc of a bent switch pin (the two metal pins on the back if the switch) you can just bend them back. if the pcb is the issue then perhaps the socket (on the backside of the pcb, most of the time they are black) might be loosened. not sure but i think in order to fix this you have to solder it back on

Ordered as i just broke my old keyboard LMAO
with the popularity of dustsilver now they have raised the prices beyond the value they once had. without the option for screw down stabs, the all plastic housing, limited rgb support and other similar missing features there are just so many other options out there for less money now. we saw this happen with GMMK as well. everybody wants to be Apple these days.
It's ever a bit more pricier if you don't live in the USA, even with the 7% discount from ricecloud and other reviewers but is helps non the less to lower the price a bit.
