Let the tawa become medium hot, then put the roti. The first roti might take some extra time due to this. I m doing this from last few years and still using the se tawa from more thn 2 years. Tawa doesnt feel thermal shock where as pots do breaks because of thermal shock
@@yummyliciouslife7963 i dont know the *right* method. But i can tell you how i am using it. Put tawa in water for about 12-15 hours, sun dry it, apply oil to season, again sun dry, its ready to use. Also, i never make paratha on clay tawa, i use cast iron tawa for that. Also, i brought new tawa few days back as the older one got broken by me accidently.

Shayad galat quality ki kadhai li hogi mam aapne. Mai pichle karib 2 saal se clay pots use kr rahi hu, hardly koi break hote hain

True...these are die casted by mixing chemicals...one should not use them.
Make sure ur utensils doesnt contain any chemicals because looking at ur mitti k bartan i feel they are not made on charkha Or wheel
