Hello again Alan, lovely to visit Ness gardens again, I last went 40 years ago, it was described in my 70s AA guidebook as having a microclimate, yes that new entrance was the first thing I noticed, your video has garnered me into action, I need to visit it again. This is the type of place one could regularly visit with a variety of equipment and always find something different.
Is it Landscape I would say yes, and to paraphrase Oscar Wilde, it is natural with a little assistance.
    Thanks for the tour
    Cheers Alan.

Hi Steve, that is a great quotation - I'll take it! As for visiting again? Go for it! As you rightly say it is a location offering many opportunities no matter what gear you use.

what a fantastic place, and bravo to the benefactor who gifted it to the people of the area. you got some lovely shots there Alan and should consider emailing a few to the gardens to see if they'd have any use for them maybe???

Thank you Nick. It is a wonderful asset for the area and maybe I will try your suggestion.

Very enjoyable video Alan, great images in this beautiful and peaceful location, I’m just disappointed that you didn’t photograph any iguanas sunning by the pond. Be well and stay safe.

Iguanas are an invasive species across the Big Pond. 😂😂😂😂

Apologies Enrique, I was sure I had replied but somehow it isn't showing up! Anyway, had I seen an Iguana in the pond, rest assured you would have been the first person to see an image of it! Thanks as ever 👍

Enjoyable watch Alan, although your audio seemed to be very low comparted to how it's been in previous videos. Stunning images! And of course, interesting history lesson too. I can name several plants in this video: 7:03 in - the "tall purple thing" is a foxglove, poisonous to animals, great for a garden because nothing eats it. 8:12 in - many varieties of ornamental trees and shrubs! 9:40 in, I was hoping you'd shoot from where you're standing, looking to the right, using that lovely stone wall that lines the path as a leading line into the left curve of the path. 13:06 in, the shrub on the right hand side, closest to the camera is lovely Lady's Mantle. 14:14 in - flowers and plants are most definitley part of a landscape, so I'd say, yes, photos of flowers and plants could be called landscape photos. (Be wary of the Photo Naming Police, they might object!). 15:12 in - Seep monkeyflower (Erythranthe guttata). 15:32 in - Scarlet tiger moth. 18:34 in - yes Alan, red hot poker (Kniphofia uvaria). 22:11 in - Anemone blanda.

I place a bet with myself TC that you would be the one to name species for me! Always good to get your comments and in this case, your knowledge so thank you 👍
