So freaking awesome man. This is gives me a whole new perspective of being in the woods. Even though I’m in it frequently, this seems so much more intimate. Congrats on completing it man. That’s a massive accomplishment. Extremely impressive.
Awesome video! I love your truth and the realness you speak! You can tell you learned and took in truly what you experienced! Love the vid! And you made me add this thruhike to my list now too! 👊👊🏕 keep it up!
Im going camping with my boy scout unit at Ouachita state park this weekend and im planning my backpacking trip now for end of summer this year or next year your video has helped me more then the others ive watched so far
Google Hot Springs Broadcast Network, it's on Facebook and your video is about the third story portrayed, I believe. The man who has that site is John Cooksey.
Such a great video!! Where do you leave your car when you start a hike like this? I’m thinking of doing this trail with a friend and leaving one car at the start and ending at Queen Wilhelmina (where we’d park the other car). Any advice for us?
The weather held out until the last two days but the snow added an element of fun and excitement that I'll never forget! If it would have hit any sooner I'm not sure I would have been able to complete the hike.
Thanks for this video! I'm starting to scout out the Ouachita as a test thru-hike, similar to what you did. Did you need to cache water anywhere along the way? I appreciate your filming and hiking at the same time - looking forward to seeing more when you get back out there!
Thanks so much! I did not cache any water but there is a 26 mile dry stretch between foran gap shelter and big brushy creek. People often cache in between those points but I chose to hike through it in one push.
Excellent video! Very well done and informative. Thanks, so much.
Great job man. Look out AT here he comes!

Awesome video, gives me an idea of what to look forward to when I do it (hopefully next year). That train made me nervous!

Wow you picked one of the worst winters to go for a hike. But who would have guessed.
The weather held out until the last two days but the snow added an element of fun and excitement that I'll never forget! If it would have hit any sooner I'm not sure I would have been able to complete the hike.
I love the vibe of this video.
Super enjoyed the watch .
What time of ear did u start? I plan on attempting ot next month
Thanks for the video
Thanks so much! The OT is amazing. You're going to love hiking it. I did this in late Feb of 2020! It was cold but I love winter hiking
Nice!
hello, what gps device to use to go through the trails?
I used an app that most long distance hikers use called FarOut but it used to be called Guthook
👍👍
How did you miss that winter storm?
I got so lucky! I finished the trail the day before the majority of the snow hit Little Rock!
