- Could you use some extra money? Selling items on eBay is as profitable as you want it. This week I sold approximately $1000 worth of items which gave me a net profit of over $500. Call it a hobby or side hustle... and most people don't even consider this work. Just an hour or two a day can help you to earn $500 a week. (I put in less hours than many part-time jobs and earn a living as much as many full-time people.)
There really isn't any reason that anyone can't make a little extra money to cover the costs of every day necessities, all while in the comfort of your own home. This is why I entitled this video "How I Made $500 In One Week Selling Items On Ebay". In this video I will show you some simple items that you can sell to make extra money. You may even have similar items, like the ones featured in this video, that are just sitting around your home collecting dust. Why not sell it and make some cash?
You don't need to spend a ton of money to make money. In fact, you would be surprised how a five or ten dollar item from your local thrift shops, garage sales, and flea markets will sell online for hundreds.

Hey man, I got to know! Is it still worth while to become a reseller on eBay with all the selling fees and shipping fees and stuff like that?
Also, if you get time could you please make a video on that? What they charge, how they charge, WHY they charge certain things..
Also, is eBay just trying to make it hard on sellers and rip them off?

Yes, ebay is worth starting. There are fees, but they are far less than many other platforms or physical selling stores. You will make money. It depends on what you sell or how much you sell. I was able to retire early and thanks to ebay, I make enough extra cash to not have to dip into savings. I also take a trip or vacation every 2 to 3 months using ebay money earned. I gIess I'm say it's better to start than not too and wish you had. Can an extra 20, 50, 100, 500, or more a week help you out. Then go for it.

I was working two jobs all the way up until thanksgiving week lasted year and caught double pneumonia and a throat infection that swoll my throat shut. During that time I caught COVID and now in what they call COVID long recovery and 4 doctors tell me I won’t work again at least for a year if I am able to go back at all and have suggested my sign up for disability. I am getting better and just now getting able to walk outside for just a little.
I was making over $2000 a week before all this happened and then just like overnight my entire life changed and now we only have my wife’s money and it’s just not enough.
I used to work the wholesale houses and sell at little town auctions back in the day. I am 50 years old so it’s been 25 plus years lol.
I think I would be very good at this and just wanted someone like you to give me an honest opinion before I took what little bit of money I have to try to make some more. Mine and my wife’s extra money has ran out at this point but we are making it, struggling, but making it.

So how are you pricing postage and packaging, I know they are paying for postage . But you are losing Alot if packing in s not taken into account, shipping supplies you call it. I've fallen on my face with the the couple of books I've sold on eBay in the UK TBH , ,prefer not to do do that lol . Bit of a waste of time and I have up. I'm not talking business though just talking about getting rid of excess personal items
I always have the shipping cost and packaging material washed into the sold price for free shipping. If it's buyer pays shipping, then generally it averages out.
