Vlad Dinu - Bionic Storm

It’s been too long since we had our last sonic journey together…right? The contemplative “Star Gazing Dub” sets the mood accordingly. We’re now in the year 2136 and, suddenly, a “Bionic Storm” arises on our departure to the Delta Quadrant. There’s no escaping this, it’s time to get into our escape pod - “A0001” and leave our main ship behind. The atmosphere inside is tense and uncertain for 6 minutes, as the pod gets to a safe distance. After 2 and a half days of traveling in the pod, we finally land on Dorma, in the nearest solar system. The crew is celebrating their escape from the bionic storm by dancing and laughing on one of the many “Fields” of the planet. Their celebration is then abruptly interrupted by the sad thought that they had to leave their ship behind. Mi-e “Dor De Tine”, says their captain, looking to the red sky above. Roban’s broken beat take on “Fields” probes the circuits of the robotic creatures that inhabit Dorma, as they analyse the strange creatures exiting the pod that just landed on their field. Pusherman’s neo-retro take on “Fields” showcases Dorma’s inhabitants, old and new, evolving into a prospering hybrid colony.
