Are the deflectors being attached to the rubber seal, or the metal door frame between the seal?

The in-channel deflectors are attached to the rubber seal inside the window channel, rather than the metal door frame between the seal. This design ensures a secure fit and minimizes the risk of damage to the door frame.
A window channel is a groove, normally made of rubber or plastic, that is found around windows.

How about a close visual where edge goes in . Between plastic or steel edge and rubber ?

Do they go on n window rubber Chanel or between rubber and metal door ?

@@sparklinesinc seems higher level Rams have different window channel . Not channel as down but plastic plate in front and back
