I appreciate this video and thank the gentleman for making it.
First, (probably doesn't make a difference BUT), youtube and the manufacturer use the term "rubber" gasket. No. At least on my 2016 Ram Rebel, it is not a rubber gasket around the windows, it is more of a felt-like material that the glass slides into. Whether the "stickum" will stick to the felt-like material long-term remains to be seen. That's the main reason I made sure my towel came out clean with no dirt, grease, etc. on it. I believe they will but as this gentleman stated, "time will tell."
I live in northern New Mexico and it is very dusty and muddy in the rain and snow (gravel roads, dirt roads, etc), and the "channels" were very dirty. I took a microfiber towel and a bottle of 91% rubbing alcohol (certainly didn't use but a little of it) and it took a while before the channel was clean. AND, I do think they are unbreakable so don't worry about pulling on them to seat them properly - you won't break them.
It took me a while longer than the video shows mostly because I spent a lot of time making sure the "felt" channel was really clean. I highly recommend "dry" fitting them first to get the feel of the install before pulling off the protective tape stuff.
I really like the looks of the in-channel deflectors. I have an '09 Hummer 3HT (pickup for those that don't know) and the stick on ones that came with it (purchased used) are losing up. A little double edge tape will take care of that obviously but the difference is really apparent. On the Hummer, military looking, macho and all that crap the stick-on ones look great. They stick out a bit and I think it just adds to the look of the truck. The Rebel (I think) looks much more refined so the in-channel deflectors really look nice, adds to the look of the truck, and now allows me to crack the windows. It's been 95 and close to 100 degrees (July 2023) but then sometimes rains in the afternoon and sometimes not. The deflectors allow the windows down a quarter to half an inch and I don't have to worry whether it rains or not. I realize this is long but hope it helps someone.

Instructions unclear. Is this gaurd going into the felt like channel the glass slides into or is it going in between the rubber seal and metal of the door?
Did anyone figure this question out I can’t get the fronts of mine by the mirrors to work properly my window won’t go up unless I push out on the window guards

Do the power folding mirrors work with these?
When attaching that, are you putting it on the rubber seal, or is it being attached to the metal surface of the door behind/between the rubber seal?

Currently they are working great. Windows go up and down fine now. Windows started functioning normal after about 3 weeks. No issues with them popping out either.

Sorry, I have to help ppl out b4 they lose money. I bought goodyear visors from AT and these so F-ed up that none of my f150 windows close. The visors get caught and window rolls back down. This is my 4th or 5th time. Always used AVS. AT just refunded me $20 out of $80. These are the worst in the market. They are NON RETURNABLE. AVS is the champ. Going to order from AVS now...
