Man, that's cool that you are open about your affection for your dad. It's also cool that he is so supportive. My parents didn't really understand what it is I do for a living and weren't really all that interested so it's really cool when I see people whose parents are actively present in their kids' lives.
Yes, the Royal Family was German - Saxe-Coburg. They changed their name to Windson in 1917 to distance themselves from Germany. And yes, the royals of Europe are all related in one way or another. For instance, Alexandra Romanov, wife of Tsar Nicholas and last Tsarina of Russia was the first cousin of Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany. Alliances were often formed by marrying off your daughter to the son of another king to cement alliances. There was also A LOT of marrying of first cousins (and sometimes siblings) throughout the history of monarchies in Europe.
Hello Bradwynn and Happy Birthday, yeah embrace those 40's, my body is 53 now and I've worked out that it gets easier to break the older you get, lucky it was my non dominant wrist that I broke so it didn't impact too much on my drawing, but unfortunately you can't do SCUBA with broken bones :) - Cheers - Jen
I think the reason you look so young in the drawing is because the eyes are a little larger than they are in the photo. It may just be the lack of shading but it's definitely the eyes. Not being critical. I've learned a tremendous amount from watching your videos. I think you do better demos than the other online instrructors, IMO. You do a great job explaining what you're doing without be overly dogmatic about the different techniques. I like the way you use a hybrid of Loomis and Reilly. I have found that that is what works best for me as well.
Brad, love your work man but the livestreams are becoming unwatchable because of the distracting and annoying drivel coming from the fawning attention-seekers. Put them on mute buddy.
I was wondering if it was getting too wild. lol I will add an On/Off button to the chat reader. I'll turn it on for a short bit here and there and off for the majority of the drawing demo process. I'll test it out tomorrow on the stream. Thank you for your input! You guys help me make the stream better. I appreciate it!
Happy Birthday, Bradwynn!!! Thanks for all you do!!!
