Superb instructional video for teachers: thank you! Not too short, enough information to be comfortable to get you started, not too long, examples from within the class and - last but not least - great presentation that makes you want to go try it out. Thanks so much. As I create some instructional videos for my (dutch) kids, could I ask you what you use to annotate your recordings (arrows, rays of sun around things, etc)?

Thank you for your video. I have a question. Is there a difference between the pro version and the free one in the way we can import from Quizlet? Thank you.

Question, when playing in teams is there only supposed to be only one device per team that way they can input one answer or how does that work? I understand that students are split into groups but if each have their own devise does that work when inputting an answer? Will there be a person in charge of inputting the answer for that team meanwhile the other devices are in standby mode? Loved your video btw, first year teaching!

Hi Mary! Each kiddo has their own device and the points are cumulative! If one person gets the answer right, the points are added together and it's the same for wrong answers. If one person spends money, it comes out of the pot. It is WAY intense!!!

I agree! Fantastic video! If you do a tutorial video for how to edit the ipad recording screen to the side, you'd get so many subscribers and views! :)

One time in my class we were playing Gimkit and somebody starting crying because everybody was "Targeting" him with powerups and after that class we went to lunch and he didn't go and he sat under a desk and was crying (this is middle school 6th grade). And nice video!

Thanks for the overview. How did you record the video side-by-side with the iPad view?

I loved your tutorial -- both the content and how it shows your iPad screen with a camera on you. I totally get how to screen record on the iPad but how did you put it together side by side? I'm thinking you could make a tutorial on just that alone since many schools are going to open virtually this upcoming year.

THANKS for putting this out there. Check for the newest Among Us mode?
Can you please share with us what [program/software/site] you used to edit this UA-cam video?
    Thanks.

I haven’t seen the Among Us mode yet but I did create an Among Us multiplication GimKit!
I use LumaFusion to edit my videos!

      Thanks.
Middle school engineering/technology teacher here (Tech Ed) who likes to explore all sorts of interactive options with students.
I’ve been using Quizlet, Gimkit, and Kahoot! a bit this year (purchased all three).
You probably already know this - but just in case - Kahoot! added a way to include slides with only information (no questions - you can show students some information, then one or more questions, then repeat, etc.). This way, a teacher can incorporate information (a small lesson) WITH questions (and assign that as a task that students can complete when it is convenient for them). Just another tool I thought someone might find helpful. ☺️
You could then make a copy of that Kahoot!, remove the information slides, and use it “live” in the classroom or with students online.
