Very Simple Carpet Stretching Job
Less Than 2 Year Old Carpet Needs A Stretch
In this video I show a very simple carpet stretching job that I did today in Rancho Cordova for a new homeowner.
I also talk a little about the Triforce stretcher adapter vs. using a power stretcher with poles.

Lots of great respectable comments on here from great installers. Thank you guys for all your comments and sharing your valuable feedback.
That was a dream stretch. ❤️❤️❤️
I was very thankful for this job after watching your video yesterday.
Gold Coast Flooring conclusion coming up later tonight. 👍👍
Yea I completely agree but I feel like when the carpet is either lighter, thinner and hall ways or closets these kinds of adapters would probably stretch the same as poles but when it's long rooms and heavy carpet especially pattern or wool it's always good to go with poles. At the end you'll never go wrong with using poles.
You nailed it, I agree and think the triforce and the mini stretchers do the same as a stretcher with poles. My good friend stretches everyday with both and he trims off the same amount I would as if I was there stretching with poles. The stinger also does the job as well but it can't be used with concrete subfloors. I'm just saying they don't stretch tighter which is what a lot of triforce owners claim.
@@justsaygold lmao one day one of my helpers dared to use the stinger on concrete and that really got me ticked off. But yea I always do concrete with poles. One note about the tri force if it's near the cost of the power stretcher then its definitely not worth it. Stinger is 1/4 of the price compared to the tri force and it does exactly the same (except concrete).
@@jc-zp1de Exactly, the triforce adapter is around $360 after shipping and tax. The stinger is $60 plus tax and free shipping if you buy something else on tools 4 flooring. Both you still have the buy the stretcher head. Brand new Crain head is about $300 so the full kit with the triforce would be $660. I bought my new Crain stretcher with poles for $520 out the door. Most re stretch jobs or even new homes that need carpet installed over here only have carpet upstairs so the stinger is a no brainer if you don't want to use poles.
How much you charge per room for that job. That's a fun easy job for sure.
I charge by the square foot. $.50 for simple jobs like this. $.70 + for difficult jobs (seams, cut outs or with furniture) This one was $195 for 3 rooms.
@@justsaygold Okay about what was thinking
To each their own but the tri-force is by no means even more convenient, up and down up and down up and down using that tool is not convenient, floor guys get up and down enough throughout the day without having to do it every time they get a single stretch
Thank you Reuben, that's true I forgot to mention that. I actually commented on another video saying that exact thing.
All that up and down killed my interest in that tool.
People think it's more convenient because they don't have to carry poles.
The only thing that bothers me is that they say it stretches tighter which is ridiculous
but I guess people will say anything to sell a tool.
Gold Coast Flooring Right, there’s absolutely no way it stretches tighter because it’s only pulling from A little further than the length of the tool where a pole stretcher pulls from completely across the room
@@FloorsbySouthernboys I think we're all beating around the bush who we talking about here. haha.
@@rd5324 excellent comment a lot of what you said I agree with. Thank you for sharing.
I would like to state for the record that I’m not talking about any individual only my opinion of tools
Of course there was no one singled out in this video, just an opinion on the tool itself. Thank you Reuben for making that clear for others.
No 45 min vacuuming video ? Unsubbed. Lol jk
😂 So sorry to disappoint, I know everyone was looking forward to enjoying their Friday night watching me vacuum.
It’s the craziest thing. I am adding subs and getting comments with thank you all over. This is proof you have to do silly stuff to please the population these days. I’m finally moving forward with my channel with a damn vacuum. 🤮🤮🤮🤮
@@CarpetMuscleTV if it helps grow your channel I support that. Other guys not so much 😁
