- See with your very eyes what could have been if Max or Billy or Phil or Peggy or Janine or Ronnie or Ryan or Jack (but not Ian which we haven't got on tape) had confessed to being Archie's murderer.

Why didn't they film a scene with Dot admitting it? It would have been hilarious.
"Ooh I say, you don't understand, I ain't one to gossip but it were me! I did it! I killed Archie!"
😂😂
Geraint Atherton That's so spot on 😂
Omg on point!!
Geraint Atherton 😂😂
This is amazing 😂😂😂😂😂 legend
I love how theyre are all crying and panicing, then Phil comes on and he so mellow lol
Loooooool he’s like “I killed Archie and I’d do it again”
Fr😭😭😭
Lacey was the best person who delivered those lines. The fact she was losing her voice while filming the anniversary episode made it even more raw and real by the way she admitted after seeing Bradley go off the roof of the Queen Vic. Lacey Turner was amazing in that scene.
I still reckon they should've made Roxy Archie's killer once she finally realised just how evil her old man really was.
Nah she a terrible actress
I thought it was Roxy. I thought it would be a real surprise. I wasn't expecting it to be Stacey though.
Phil's reaction is unintentionally hilarious with how calm he seems 😭
I think it would have been very fitting if it had been Ronnie after what he put her through
it made the most sense tbh.. its just another example of piss poor writing to make stacey do it.. like what did she do.. just go into the vic.. kill him without saying anything then walk out then back to her house and act like she didnt do anything as if she was a robot? lol yeee okay...
@@Migman2020 Though I agree, it would have been just too obvious, had it been Ronnie and I personally think it would've ruined the anticipation for the live episode if everyone knew it would have been her that's an easy story to write. For a special gotta keep the audience guessing, intrigued and curious!
But his abuse of Ronnie wasn't known until this episode in February 2010, nor did Ronnie find out that he had raped Stacey until around this time. She had no immediate motive to kill him.
I correctly guessed it was Stacey at the time. I knew it wouldn't be Bradley because he was being killed off in that episode, and that the killer had to be someone close to Bradley for maximum impact. Stacey was the obvious person and the one with the strongest motive.
I hated how they messed it up when Stacey confessed to Peggy on the night of The Vic fire that Archie raped her. Peggy refused to believe her, saying Bradley killed Archie. But what motive would Bradley have other than Archie raping Stacey? Peggy would have to have known this already for her to believe that Bradley was guilty! Plus Stacey had already told Ronnie what happened, and Ronnie told Roxy. How couldn't Peggy have known?
Yes this made the logical choice as she was the most unstable out of all the potential killers!
I like the "I killed Archie" bit
Assoluta I killed Archie
It's all my fault! Bradley didn't do it! No you don't understand... Bobby did it. It was Bobby.
+HonBon96 this was not the who killed Lucy beale campaign
this was who killed archie mitchell campaign
jessica sherrock .....I was joking...
sorry by the way
+HonBon96 LOL, That blasted Serial Killer.
HonBon96 hi
steve mcfaddens acting is top stuff.
Well he's definitely dead if all these people killed him.
SP Freely might require one more hit I reckob
Sorry EastEnders 25 live 19 February 2010 Monday this morning now
IT WAS ME AUSTIN. IT WAS ME ALL ALONG!
I think Ronnie were the best
You don't understand, you don't understand
Out of everyone, Phil delivered it the best
Is like he didn't give a fuck basically when he said it
Danny Moon Yeah, it was like " Someone gave me too little for a drink in the Vic tonight, mum-oh yeah, and I killed Archie, by the way." 😂😂😂
Yeah for real.
Ronnie I think
Phil is a beast that’s why 💪🏻
Guess they used the one that was the best acted. Stacy acted out this scene better than anyone.
I thought Ronnie was pretty good.
God you know your hated when there 9 possible people who killed you! lol
Ronnie was the best
Imagine if there was an ending where Ian killed Archie. God, the tabloids would have had a field day.
Some of these are just hysterical
The fact that Ian Beale didn’t have one shows that he was innocent all along
Kind of weird that cuz right before Archie was murdered, we see Ian as one of the various people who looks like he's about to go and kill Archie.
This is all my fault. You don't understand. I killed Archie. It was me.
It should’ve been Ronnie, she’s such a good actress and it would’ve made the story more believable. 😭😭😭😭
Stacey got raped by Archie
And he hurt Danielle who was Stacey's best friend and was the main reason for her death
I could not imagine this storyline going down any other way
If Ronnie did it then its just to much but I get it
However I think eastenders made the best choice
It would of been too obvious and they wanted it to be a mystery
@@avasangels6167, how would it have been obvious? We didn't even know Archie had raped Ronnie until a few minutes before this very scene. She had no immediate motive to kill him at Christmas.
At the time this storyline was happening we all know Bradley was not going to be the killer what makes it tragic is that he took the blame
Ronnie would've been great
Phil and Peggy's were the most believable
i do like how people blamed peggy and phil becuase they were both hurt by archie but i do love how Stacey did it
If it was Ronnie it would’ve been as successful!!!
Peggy was actually going to be the killer, until Barbara Windsor announced she was leaving. Would have been a great exit though.
Thanks so much for uploading this. Where did you get them all? I thought only Max and Ryan's alternate reveals were shown on TV on the aftermath show on BBC3. I'm glad with the outcome though. My bet was that the killer was either Jack, Ryan or Stacey.
No way in hell would Janine admit to it, she would be happy that Bradley “took the fall”
JANINE (to STACEY 7 months later): Did Bradley know about Ryan? Cuz everyone round here, they believe that he fell. But, between you and me, I think he jumped.
3:50 Jack says "I killed Archie" to Ronnie instead of "I killed your dad" lol
I would have to love to have seen Janine or Ronnie be the one who killed Archie mainly because I’d love to see Ronnie get her revenge on her father and Janine because it would be brilliant to see how she’d be able to get away or try to get away with it
Ronnie being the killer would've been just too obvious.
@@midnightstar1996 I couldn't agree more it would of been to obvious because of the hate she had for him
I was convinced it was Ryan right to the moment Stacey confessed. He was the favourite towards the end at the bookies. Was one of our busiest nights that night (I was a bookie at the time). Took nearly 100 bets on who killed Archie. We even had odds on Wellard for the who shot phil mitchell story.
This is all my fault bradley didn't do I did it I killed archie!!!!!!!
You missed the "You don't understand!" Part.
Stacey and ronnies was the only good ones lol...
Phil's is good as well!
If it was Ronnie, the whole storyline would've been ruined. Everyone would've been disappointed. It would've just been too obvious because Ronnie wanted her dad dead. So, I'm glad they decided on someone else other than her.
Agreed!
When exactly were each of these confessions filmed (including Stacey's confession)? I assume these were pre-recorded before they performed the live episode as it would have been awkward to have shot them all simultaneously during the live broadcast. Also, did any of the cast already know who Archie's murderer was before they did the live episode? Because obviously the next episode would be back to pre-recorded episodes, which presumably would've been filmed long before the live episode.
Andrew Chapman they were all told to rehearse the lines in case it was them and they would look at the script to see if it was them before the live
@@kaylee4008 I actually think they taped the live episode twice- they did a prerecorded one in case of an emergency and that's why multiple endings were filmed for that.
Stacey ran off in the next episode so we didn't see her and Max discussing it for ages. I think I read somewhere Lacey thought reading the scripts it was to do with Bradley's death not knowing before the live episode that Stacey was Archie's killer. I'm guessing these alternate takes were part of the rehearsal.
One of the best storylines that EastEnders have ever done apart from the ending where Bradley was killed off because the show is nowhere near as good without him or Dennis or any other of the nice characters that they had in the show the show is weak without those types of big characters
tank u!! ronnies acting is the best
Plot twist: they all dunnit
I want another who dun it soon !!
it should have been Phil given how many times he threatened to do Archie in yet chickened out plus him and Peggy fell out big time after he wasn't able to kill Archie so this would have made up for it and also made him a less cringe Gangster later on as he would have actually murdered someone in the past so his threats could actually be taken seriously.
lacey turner is such a good actress!
That was a reveal that didn't get revealed in advance. Even Lacey and Jake were told earlier that day. Well done Eastenders!
Was this for like a special or something, or was it all in episodes
Because of how reviews in British TV schedule magazines work, they send the reviewers early copies of all the shows they're going to review before the episode even airs. Sometimes the producers don't want a reviewer to leak a storyline before it goes out for the general public or to stop someone in the show's production leaking storylines.
British TV shows can be _extremely_ dedicated to prevent spoilers, for good reason; the TV show Eldorado, about British people living in Spain and Triangle, about people living and working on a cruise ship sailing in the Northern seas, both had their first big storylines and twists ruined by reviewers spoiling them.
As a result, certain big storylines have multiple fake scenes recorded to throw off reviewers or to discourage leakers, maybe even identify them based on what scene was leaked. For example, this clip but Doctor Who does it a lot as well, either omitting scenes from reviewer copies or having alternate takes used instead.
There was meant to be lan and Jane too, but they kept got the Lucy storyline lol
Wait wasn't this a live episode? How could there be alternative endings?
+Rosie Tibbs They were constantly doing rehearsals for it. Think they ended each rehearsal with a different version, but there was always 10 or so people who were told "it might be you so we want to give you the script of what your ending might be"
Yeah the cast only found out at the last minute.
You don't understand....It was Tracey the barmaid....
It would’ve been good if it was Billy
lol at billy
Max, Stacey, Jack & Ronnie's one were great. Billy was also good.
This is so funny
lol @billy mitchell hahaha yeah right
god this show was much better then than now ronnie is the best charecter in the history of soap
nah guys, give it up it was me
Duff Duff for the 19th February 2010: Janine Butcher and Ryan Malloy.
Wouldnt it be funny if Charlie Slater did it LOL
How did they have time to film all they scenes live
The confessions were pre-recorded before they shot the live episode and Stacey's confession was the one edited at the end.
Wait I’m confused, so Stacey made the statue fall on Archie? I haven’t watched full episodes so I don’t know a lot about this storyline
Yh!
It would of been way to obvious but i think it would of made a lot more sense that Ronnie killed Archie
That's exactly what I think. It WOULD have been too obvious, even from the day Archie died. Everyone obviously thought it was Ronnie at the start. Even I did. I just didn't want to be right, so my wish came true. Stacey being revealed as the killer was ABSOLUTELY GOBSMACKING for me. I didn't expect it at all.
Same glad shes back wish they would make her more liked now though! lol
The whole square killed Archie then 😂
What reason would Billy have to kill Archie?
They’re all saying it now
When get testing who character killing archie and get ready live episode it stacey killing him duff duff
*Did they do this for Lucy*
Hi I just like the way in the same scene Ryan and janine just say to one another that they killed Archie but instead they just say in 2 different scene Ryan says that he did or janine did it and In another scene Phil and Peggy just say it was one another and I just saying in my head that what is going on why is one another saying it was them that did it and billy said to Phil it was him and max said to Stacey it was him and jack and ronnie say it was them and it’s just really confusing oh my gosh 😅
It's not Max it's Stacey you should have put
If Phil killed Archie, he would’ve turned into an actual murderer 😂
Oh for fuck sake, WHO KILLED ARCHIE?!!!
Stacey
Ngl I was hoping for it to of been Ronnie because of how her dad treated her and her daughter Danielle but it would of been so obvious & it was better they made it a mystery but yeah Stacey had the guilt
Yeah I did it, I killed Lucy with the lead piping, in the Vic, and I would do it again.
No you dident kill lucy bobby did
it's not your fault, IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT.
He keeps yo Stacey banning
All these people were suspected of killing him, that’s so mad.
Truly shows what a hated man he was 😂
A lot of people were thinking it was either Sean or Becca. Becca didn't really know Archie though. She never met him properly. She was just told by Stacey about what Archie was like when he was causing trouble around the square. And as for Sean, if they had decided on him being the killer, I would be so shocked and excited at the possibility of him making a return. But it didn't happen....oh, well.
@@midnightstar1996 Sean would have been such a cool one!
lol Ronnie looks like she's laughing when she said she killed her dad.
Would have been better if it was peggy or phil
No! It's all MY fault!
Shirley should of got a ending
As if Billy the coward would have killed Archie! 🙈😂
I think the duff duff should been this one 1:28
EastEnders live 19 February 2010 Monday sorry now
another few suspects could have been Jay or Surly Shirley LOL
Bill Farrell it could've been jay, but don't call me Shirley
Jay didn't really have a problem with Archie. He knew he'd been up to no good and causing trouble for everyone, but he didn't have much screen time with him and he didn't have a lot of storylines with him. So, it would've been a shock if Jay had been revealed as the killer, plus there'd be a million questions as to why he would do it.
Stacey by so killed achie❤️
This was definitely a woman's crime - from behind, using a weapon. The male confessions don't feel right 😂
EastEnders next week Monday 25 February 19 now
It was Stacey she killed Archie
I'm on to something here...Everybody killed Archie trust me it's going to get revealed soon some Julius Ceaser stuff going on in here ;ppp
Hamza Ali v
P
Phil would have made more sense
To an extent, Phil isn't a murderer though.
Wasn't this live? Why did they film them all lol
Malibu Barbiie Delish they filmed them all so even the cast didn't know who it was gonna be until the night
But it was a live episode
Malibu Barbiie Delish True but all was filmed in order to decide which one would be used during the live broadcast. Basically, they would have acted it out exactly like they did in the alternative practice during the live broadcast.
Who killed Archie alternate
It was Stacey
Wait… who killed Archie?
STACEEEEE! RUNNNNN!
It was clearly terrence
I would pefer if Ian were there!
Adam Woodyatt did do an alternate ending but it was never released for some unknown reason.
Stacey banning she killed archie yes 😢
Thanks for telling us that because literally no one and I mean no one knew
Stacey was definitely the best.
it. Stacey
stacey
Lacey&samantha are the best
